I've got to be honest. If I were him, and the US gov't wasn't telling me I needed to go there and face the trial, there's no chance I would. Good on him for manning up and facing his accusers, but it's been pretty obvious from the start that the judicial system over there is corrupt and they're just trying to railroad him.

I am glad I seen LOG a few months back because it might be a long time until they play again if Randy is found guilty.

Just don't tour in the Czech Republic. Randy himself said that was an option, but that he wouldn't do it.

There is also a possibility they need to slice red tape for closure there. Meaning, they need him to be there to go through the motions where he will inevitably acquitted anyway. I dunno, if it were me I would just avoid that country and press on with my life. He may see himself as a martyr for some reason. I can see all the merch and benefit shows revving up. I know there are people that hope he gets convicted so they can make some money off this.

He's a fool for going back over there. He's going to get screwed over. I feel bad for him, but he should've not gone back and just skipped that part of the world on tour from here on out.

It happens every day bro, he's a dumbass for going back. Hell, even Ozzy dodged Texas long enough for everyone to forget about him pissing on the Alamo. Laughing Those people are out for blood and to make an example of him it seems. I feel sorry for the dude, but I think he's gonna get screwed.

I thought Randy Blythe was a fairly intelligent person. From reading his rants about how screwed up this country is and his platform for running for president, I thought he would be smarter than this.

Going back there is the dumbest thing he could possibly do. Expecting the United States to have his back is also incredibly d umb. After making speeches all over the internet about what a mess this country is, did he really expect this administration to do anything to back him ? In fact, I suspect just the opposite. I'm sure he is being railroaded into jail. This is not going to end well.

In addition to all this, the family is filing suit for 500k. He's going to be @#%$@!!&. I hope not, but it doesn't look good.

Good for him for standing up to his accusers, but he is a fool for entering a country where his judgement will more than likely be predetermined.

If I were him I would not have to balls to go back, I wouldnt even feel guilty as his actions were instinctive and provoked. At most I would have offered the family a small commiseration fee, but there is no f*cking way my ass would be going over to the Czech Republic to stand trial.

Lamb of God to the slaughter if you ask me... pardon the pun.

Perhaps he will get lucky and can make BC Rich Caliber guitars in prison

Unless it was HIS hand that pushed that fan off the stage, he had no business going back there to face the charge. If he did indeed push the fan off the stage, then just like here, he would face an involuntary manslaughter charge which carries a 5-15 year sentence anyway. He probably would have gotten 3 years or less here. If he is convicted there, probably 3-5 years

I will say he will get a fairer shot then if that happend in Russia Laughing
