Guitar Center selling fake Chinese Razorback

I was searching through their used selection and noticed they have one razorback thats horns are shaped different from any razorback I have ever seen.
After a quick look at the biggest Chinese fake guitar site on the planet I discovered that this guitar is a Chinese fake.

I called them to let them know and they just blew me off, so maybe we should have couple hundred Dean Forum members call them and let them know that is not a real razorback.

Somebody should just buy it and then sue GC for selling fakes, specially after being notified that the guitar is a fake. Sue for mental duress because of the ridicule the buyer will face when his Dean is pointed out to be a Chean Laughing

Called them and told them and they said their going to look at it and compare it to another razorback.

Or at least they should have used Google to look up what they were buying. I wonder how much they spent on that... thing.

Every store that I have done trade ins with in the past few years has used the internet to look up the price of the gear they were buying from me.

holy s#%t! look at the upper fret access on that thing. Who could possibly confuse this for the real thing? no reputable manufacturer would put out anything that @#%$@!!& up.

To all:

I personally know this store & staff. I go there at least 2 times a week. These guys are PERSONAL friends of mine. I had no idea this was going on till the manager, Dave, called me on my cell. Today is his day off & he's calling me from home.

I just traded my ML modifier for a Caddy just 3 weeks ago & at first we both thought you all were beating him up on that guitar.

After speaking with Dave I'm asking YOU ALL to back off. He's received you messages. He is checking into it. Problem is he's thinking this guitar, the green Razorback, actually originated from their corporate office. Sold to a some kid in town & he traded it in last week.

HE IS GOING TO FIND OUT WHERE IT CAME FROM & FIX THE PROBLEM. So please stop the emails & leave him alone.

Thanks for pointing out the problem. Now let him fix it. MESSAGE RECEIVED.

A Chinese company wanted to do high end work for Dean. So the Dean guy sent an email that just said "MAke me a Razorback ML"

So they did. Overall, it was pretty frickin' impressive going from just a sentence in an email. The Dean guy was impressed.

Awesome guitar with awesome story. Hope to see you rock it at the next DOA!!!
