tubes question

K so my question is i want to change the power tubes in my dsl 100 Marshall.theres 4 el 34 power tubes.my question is this.I only use the clean channel on the amp.do i need to change all 4 output tubes or are 2 tubes for one channel and 2 for the other?or does the amp just run all 4 at once to power?

It runs all power tubes at once. The preamp tubes are the ones that might be some for the clean, some for the distortion, this one for effects loop, this one phase inverter, etc, but the power tubes are always working.

you also have to change them as a quad matching set and set the bias. there's a whole set up to go threw. cab plugged in to head ect

The way your asking it, I'd answer did it have a half power switch? That's the way only 2 or 4 tubes would be used. But yes change all the tubes.
