I know he's recorded with Miles Davis and countless others...,

I honestly think the inspiration behind this one was to see how far he could push the boundaries and still be "musical".

It sounds terribly sloppy to me. I love jazz, and this could not really be considered jazz- it is just kind of a jam over 2 chords. I'd love to hear Allan Holdsworth over something like this- at least it would be played well.

Not my bag. Miles went 'out there' way past this...

But is it wrong? No. I didn't think it was horrible. But not loving it. He may REALLY be improvising here. Don't hear that often.
