I know he's recorded with Miles Davis and countless others...,
I honestly think the inspiration behind this one was to see how far he could push the boundaries and still be "musical".

It sounds terribly sloppy to me. I love jazz, and this could not really be considered jazz- it is just kind of a jam over 2 chords. I'd love to hear Allan Holdsworth over something like this- at least it would be played well. |
