old paint is poly so will need to scuff it well to get new paint
to stick, scotch brite and or fine sandpaper till no gloss left,
flat isn't as durable since not cleared over , i would probaly just use a
flat black primer for easier to retouch up or a camo flat black |

I've used Krylon on a guitar body before with no issues. They make flat and matte/satin clears too. |

any polyurethane paint will adhere well. Don't use enamel, it will not bond to the current poly finish. |

primer usaly will stick better but is easier to scatch or touch up
camo is just easy to get since more places would carry it in spray cans, i use it
for solar heaters i make,
a auto satin black would probaly hold up the best since flat will
get polished after awhile or wear off |
