Some Question about Bending Guitar String
Hello Everyone ..
i have a question .... my guitar string was always too tight
i am using 10-46 for standard turning now ...
my guitar bridge is Gibson SG style ..
my high e sting was super tight now... i only can bend the strings about 1/2...
i want to know ...what can i do now ???
what can i do to make the strings loose ...
and i don't want the guitar action to high because of my playing style ..
thank you very much ....

Go down a gauge to 9's.

That, plus keep practising. Your finger strength will come in time; I use 11's in standard and I have no problem bending.

Maybe you need a good guitar setup. Both my SG and Euro Caddy were like that. It could be the truss rod being tweaked to much, when it was built.
It's amazing what a competent guitar repairman can do to make an axe work.
