There is a guy who came through Michigan City who played just like that. his name was Vaul Sal I think. He hit the guitar and it sounded like a drum....That stuff is amazing.

My bass player friend (who won't play with us) is repairing and painting some of the rooms in my house, sat down the other day in my computer room/music room. I offered to sell him my Contour, as he is looking for an acoustic to "learn how to play guitar". Why the quotes......? He picked up the Contour and proceeded to blow me away with staccato 32nds using all five fingers. I had NEVER heard anything like it. He must have played 50 straight bars of 32nd (and maybe 64ths) before he said that he would buy it!

I want to say right now that it is physically IMPOSSIBLE for any human being to play what he played using a guitar pick! His only drawback........?

He doesn't know the first chord! (But that will change quickly)

Thats sounds wild!!! I would love to see that.
