Ok Kids...
Everyone that ordered an '03 DOA bass sounds like they're happy with their purchase... I know I am.
So, would anyone be interested in making it a tradition?... I, for one, would.
We could make this easy on ourselves, and get the same basic package as far as hardware goes... I love the tone I get from the Caddy... I'd love to have a set neck ML to go along with it.
Let's come together one more time, low end brothers of love, and see if we can make this happen again. All we have to do is show Elliot the appropriate amount of interest, and we can make this happen.
I'll volunteer to keep track of numbers and such again this year, unless some one else wants to take the lead...
Let's hear from the bass players....

I just received my Caddy (8 of 25) and am very impressed with it. If this is what we can expect I would certainly be on board.
Count me in
PS: I would be partial to a "V" bass.

Hey Dave,
You know that I am in brother. In fact I may have a buddy that wants one too.
So I guess you can put me down for two. |

Yep, I'm very interested in a set neck ML bass.
However if FatCity, a recent addition to the DOA clan, ended up with Caddy #8 I'd say B&T have a long way to go clearing this year's basses. It could be tough getting this to happen. Caddys aren't everyone's style, so maybe an ML will be more popular *shrug* |

That "depends" vote is mine. I'm in if it's the right package. My only request is that I would like a flame or quilt maple top and ANYTHING but a PJ setup. |

I'm trying to reserve enough money to afford a doa 2004 guitar and a bass. I was all in for the 2003 one, but losing my job about the time the deposit was due shot that down for me. If I've got the cash, I'll get me a 2004 bass, even if its just to hold on to till our 16 year old gets his act together and gets a job so he can buy it from me. |

A 5-string would be NICE!!!!
But yeah...I'm definitely going to get one this time around. The Caddy is a nice instrument, but just not my style, ya know? |

I'd just like to say there's nothing absolute about this.... yet
I'm just seeing who'd be interested, seeing if we can agree on the hardware issues, etc.
But, things are looking promising from poll interest, anyway.
Perhaps there is a set neck ML with Tiger Eye finish just over the horizon for us.... |
