http://www.deanguitars.com/custom_450.htm
Seriously thinking about getting it, but it all sounds too good to be true! D:
My requirments on a next guitar:
- 24 good accesible (if thats a word lol) frets
- Good Tremolo system that will allow me to do Vai/Satch like whammy bar abuse
- At least 2 GOOD humbuckers
The Custom 450 kinda fits this, and is only 500€ here! Most guitars with this kind of stuff on it (looking at jackson/ibanez) are at least twice that price! How come?
Arent the pickups not that good? I always thought EMG was nice...
Isnt the tremolo system good? I always thought floyd rose was nice....
Is the neck just inferior compared to more expensive guitars?
Or is it like my wet dream coming true, a beautiful guitar with beautiful stuff on it for a beautiful price? =))
Im clueless
Ow and....I know everyone here likes deans, but please be honest if ur going to answer =) (as in no "OMG ITS DEAN SO ITS GOOD OMG OMS OSMODMOMGOS GU SUCK FOR DOUBTING OMG DIE!!!" stuff....lol)
thx u |

Yeah, the custom 450 is a great axe!
Neck thru construction, and great pups.
I've played 3 of em and they were all fantastic!
Get it!
You won't be disappointed. |

My son owned one that was signed by Elliott, I bought it from him. They are great guitars, the EMGs are great pups and the floyd works fine. The fit and finish is flawless and the neck while a bit on the thin side for my liking is like butha.True through body neck construction for sustain that goes on forever. They are great guitars

I say buy it .
I bought it as my first (electric) guitar and i've done quite a research before i did ...
I played Jacksons Ibanez's RG's and S's
and i was pretty set on the IBANEZ RG 2570 (its like the 570 only prestiege with Dimarzio PU's) .
Finally I came across the Custom 450 and totally fell inlove with it
the neck is perfect, the pickups are great (passive) and its really beautifull - the picture on the site kinda sucks .. |
