Judging by the third pic, I'd say a slight arch. |

it is indeed the same guitar.
Zakk made the cutout himself when he had
trouble accessing the higher frets |

Yea. And no. Not a Dean thing Headstock looks like a bird's rear end, plus one LP shaped guitar is enough for Dean, at least IMO.
That movie was halfway decent though. |

Congrats to Zakk for having some of the ugliest LP variations ever... Bullseye, Camo, I'll admit the buzzsaw was pretty cool, then this thing... *barfs* |

Don't worry, it was just for a movie!
PS. The mylar camo (shiny silver/black) is pretty cool. |

Eh but I think zakk has that cool factor with all his guits(Not huge on the camo and Buzzsaw)... Ironically he found that bullseye in a pawnshop and He's now known by it Just like how EVH got his striped frankenstrats, Paul gilbert has his F holes, Dime has his ML's( ) and steve vai has his monkey grip (Could go on and on) Its pretty cool how players get to be recognized with their own personal guits.
But I think this is the most metal variation on an LP I've ever seen....I'd hit it |

This guitar wasn't for a movie... he plays it on a concert vid off the No More Tears tour... The guitar he had in Rockstar was hideous though... Can't believe Gibson made this...

it wasn't just 1 concert, it was like 30 concerts.
and the guitars he had for the movie, Rockstar,
looks like this

whereas the diamondplate V is by Gibson and the
devil V is from the same guy who made the LP variation, Andy Beech,
the guy in the first picture |

Oh s#%t my bad, I totally got confused. I knew there was one that he got made for him for Rockstar, but I didn't remember what it looked like.
Then this is the one the random luthier made for him right? |

You sure? I read somewhere he wanted a spiral design applied to an existing LP, and whoever done it fucked it and made rings, but he liked it anyways |

It is accomplished by chanting to Zubaz, the underworld minion responsible for thread necromancy.
Three times aloud, twice silently to yourself, then two more times aloud while standing in a crowded library with your pants at your ankles.......
Ho Ha Bo Ba
Rim Rum Rama Lama Ding Dong
Doo Dah Boo Yah
Bring thread back to life chants
Boom Shaka Laka Boom Shaka Laka
I wear ladies' underpants
The thread will be brought to the surface of the forum lake.
It will stay there for 24 hours and be subjected to snarky comments.
You will get funny looks AND some snickering at your shortcomings AND your pic posted to someone's Facebook page while acting the fool in the library.
Guaranteed. |
