As usual, done with ym crappy $15 web cam, so yes, I know they stink. But it gives you teh idea. Nicer ones were taken with film, which will be mailed to brave dave, who I'm sure will be able to work something better out for both here and the website.
from left to right;
The new Silver Burst ML, My MLX handpainted by local Cincinnati Artist Lauren Buchan (as a replacement for my 1980 ML that was stolen and later found demolished, which had a nearly identical paintjob), My custom Neck Through "ankh" ML (There are gold mother of pearl anhk's inlaid down the neck), My Custom Natural ML, The very first Dean ever with the new Laser cut Dean Logo, and signed by Mr. Z Himself!, The new Zen Acoustic/Electric, and my Dean Tradition.
Enjoy! |

Man, That natural one is a BEAUTY!!! BTW, I was gonna say you have the Dave Hlubek, Molly Hatchet , look going on! Of course, the 1978 look not Hlubek now.
I know you wouldn't own this. Ok maybe you might, if price were right, but I doubt it. I thought of you cause of your ML that you posted on the old board. The one that got stolen.
Warning: Very Ugly mess of a guitar.

the crotch on the DBJSBML isn't really all that noticeable, to be fair, I don;t think most people would have noticed it if it hadn't been pointed out to them on the board. But when you stick it next to an MLX or something, you can see it. It's really not THAT terrible, and it certainly doesn't effect it's playing.
I still regret losing that 1980, so Lauren bought an MLX for me and painted it aas closely as possible to my 1980 from pictures, she got it extremely close.
And yup, the amp is huge and loud... all you gotta do is slwing on by and play through her, everyone of course has an open invite when in the area! |
