Opinions needed !
Our Company is having a Management Conference in the beginning of the year and I happen to be on the committee. We are looking for a musical theme that will be consistent with the Conference theme which is "Good to Great"
Since this is my extended family and you all have great musical taste, I figured I would try my shot at posing the question and see what turns up!
Remember the Clinton musical theme to their campaign... Fleetwood Mac's "Don't stop... Thinkin' about Tomorrow" blah blah blah...
You get the drill.....
Thanks!

Tina Turner - The Best. They use that one all the time for motivational BS... |

Or if it has to be a more well known track, how about ACDC's 'Long Way To The Top'. Hahaha. Killer bagpipe solo... |

LOL! Awesome tune! Very fitting... but I'm not sure it will be appreciated by them... they're primarily upper management... SVP, EVP, CLO, COO, CEO etc.... LOL! |

I'm having a presentation myself for my management and fellow employees tomorrow and the song "Highway to Hell" springs into mind....
Luckily, my presentation does not involve music this time....
How about it, maybe that song will help you? |

The Tina Turner sing is a good one for that, as well as.
The Rocky theme
Winner Takes it All- Sammy Hagar
Eye of the Tiger- Survivor
Dreams- Van Halen
All Star- Smashmouth
there are a lot of songs from soundtracks, especially '80's movies.
I've seen these used in different business seminars.

This one's also good for a backing track, if you're performing a David Copperfield style magic illusion involving a lovely assistant and a circular saw... |

This is tougher than I thought. I'm assuming the big wigs want an upbeat song that won't offend anyone (which eliminates a lot of the songs I know), and whose theme is that things can get better. So far, all I can can come up with is the Beatles "Here Comes the Sun." Boring, but I'm still thinking for ya Chuck. |

I know it's a cheezy pop song, but how about 'Things can only get better?'
Sorry Doc. Couldn't resist! |

So does that mean that Ed Roman's official theme song on this forum is "True Colors" by Cyndi Lauper (whose band also played Dean btw) |

Big Balls
Dirty Deeds Done Dirt Cheap
Highway To Hell
Not necessarily great theme tunes for a financial services organization, but would be lots of fun and good for a laugh and dirty look.

Chuck, I listened to Van Halen's "Right Now" today, and thought of this thread. Has your group decided on a song? |

Since the theme is "Good to Great", how about Creed's "Higher"? It shouldn't offend anyone. |
