Well, as most of you know, all I have to play on right now is a 15 watt Squier P.O.S. amp. I don't like it, but I could live with it until I can find an affordable replacement (namely the Peavey PA I want). Well last night me and my cousin were playing for like 5 hours straight and I guess we put a little too much power into it between the 2 of us. Well, long story short, my grandfather took a look after it just stopped working altogether (won't even turn on) and said it might just be that we blew a fuse inside. I'm REALLY hoping that's it because if not, I'll be back in debt as soon as I get back to Gainesville. I guess we'll find out tomorrow when I get a replacement fuse. |

AWWW Man that's gotta be Hell. I know what it's like to fianlyl get a big amp then it breaks and you have to go back to the baby amp till you can get it fixed/replaced. I hope in YOUR case its just a fuse. My first rig @#%$@!!& up altogether and I had to get rid of it. Good thin I had bought it from my bass teacher and he gave me my money back PHEW.... |

Think positive..........it's just the fuse.
I'll cross my fingers, though.

Hate to be the bringer of bad news but, if it won't come on at all its more than just a fuse. |

Thanks for the well wishes, guys. We'll see in about 12 hours. I'm going with Joe on this one, but I'm hoping I'll be able to keep my 500 bucks for now. |

Cool!!!
FWIW,our singer's car got plowed into(with him & his g/f in it) by a drunk limo driver w/a bunch of drunker kids in the back.
This happened after we played last year's New Year's Eve.He was going home from the bar.
So it's not THAT bad,really...

Here's another bad way that you could have started the New Year......

OK Yes, I was wishing it was dead and the amp I'd get isn't really an amp...it's a Peavey 150 watt PA system called the Escort 2000. Jim, you're 100% right. I know it could have been worse but it was still rough. |

That doesn't sound very neat but hey you have 2 HT's and just a Squier 15 watt??
LOL, I hink you'd better invest in a proper amp now preferable 100 watt tube head with two 4 x 12 cabs to stir up the neighbourhood a little! |

Hans, if I had the cash, believe me I'd already have something nicer. Problem is that right now, I just got outta debt with my dad and before anything else, I wanna get a multi-fx unit. I'm not playing live yet, so it doesn't matter as much that I don't have a decent amp. It IS 2nd on my list tho. (GNX3, amp, mp3 player, etc.) |

That calls for a good "whew!". Same thing happened with my Recto about 6 months ago. Replaced the fuse and no problem since. |
