Either instrumental rock (Satch, Vai, etc) or classic rock (anything from Floyd to Led Zep to Allman Bros, CCR, etc.) depending on my current mood. |

Mostly metal.
But I do love acoustic stuff(Al Di Meola, John McLaughlin, etc) and Blues also. Classic rock is also very big.

Rock is my favorite, but I currently play in a country band, so both of the above.

It depends on the season. Every summer I get this weird craving for blues and rock (next to metal). Every winter I get this craving for death and black metal. Every spring and fall, I mostly listen to metal, metal and more metal, all sorts of it!! |

I always end up going back to rock (ACDC, Sabbath, Zep, Asmith). Don't know why. Must be the primal 'guitar straight into Marshall' thang. Don't get me wrong. I've actually been getting into alot of metal at the mo and have had an invite to write some killer metal riffs for a friends metal band (he wanted me to join but I'm too busy with my own ROCK act ) plus I don't think I'm a very 'metal' player. I'd go insane after about 4 weeks of it I think. LOL. We're gonna play this month so look out for pics. The only prollem is I'll have no BFH up there with me. But that is being fixed this year. |
