I recently got a vintage Z, but I'd like one to be able to play out with and not worry to much about it. Color is really no preference to me, so really anything goes. As long as it sounds beautiful. If anyone has anything let me know.

Have you considered a '79 Series Re-issue Z? They are quite affordable, and play and sound really nice. You can get a nice used one on e-bay for sometimes less than $300, or a new one from Dave at Bass and Treble for less than $500.

I thought it was you....cool your story is featured on the main page, and yeah it really sucks hard!

That Z you got is very nice and I'd never get rid of it in my life....

Yeah a 79 Z could be a good option, dave at B & T is DA MAN here on the board!

Flame series vintage USA Z's can also be had for reasonable prices like $ 600-700 if you can find one!

OR the Z Select...? Or did the select series only include V's and ML's? Anyhow if you find1, BUY!! Selects have a great sound and feel really good, just to bad they discontinued that series... Sad
