Okay, now maybe I am stepping out of bounds here, but I, for one, would love to have Michael come to DOA III and play for us. I have seen him live several times and there is no way to explain how incredible he is. If enough of us speak up, maybe Elliott would consider asking Michael to join us. He could play for us at the party on Friday night and maybe do a clinic for us on Saturday. I could sure use a few tips. If you would like to have Michael attend DOA III, then now is the time to speak up. Let Elliott know what you think. Majority usually gets what they want, ya know! |

That's an awesome idea Dave. I'd actually prefer to hear him on Saturday rather than Friday, as I really enjoy Pat's band, and on Saturday there's some down time between gawking at the guitars. If it can't be Michael Angelo, I think an official Dean endorser is another good idea (ie Jeff Ryan Smoots...). |

Michael wouldn't be the only one playing on Friday night. I am pretty sure Pat's band is going to play. I am not sure about Jeff Smoots. I talked to him a few weeks ago and told him all about it. Think how cool it would be for him AND Michael to be there. |

I THINK HAVING MICHAEL BATIO ON SATURDAY WOULD BE A GOOD IDEA . I DONT THINK WE SHOULD HAVE A BUNCH OF EGOS ON A FRIDAY THOUGH. I THINK PEOPLE WANT TO HAVE THE CHANCE TO GET UP AND JAM WITH PATS BAND LIKE LAST YEAR AND I THINK IT WOULD BE RATHER INTIMIDATING FOR SOME TO GET UP AND PLAY AFTER BATIO OR SMOOTS PLAYED. ITS SUPPOSED TO BE FUN !!! YOURE THERE TO CELEBRATE BEING A GUITARIST NOT THINKING ABOUT TAKING UP KAZOO OR ELECTRIC TRIANGLE AFTER SOMEONE LIKE BATIO PLAYS. JUST MY TWO CENTS. |

So let them play last.........I think hearing Michael with a band at full tilt would be a lot cooler than hearing him through his demo rig. |

Listen to him play. You'll change your tune. Paul Gilbert, Satch, Vai - all very attainable with diligent practise, but Michael Angelo? Unless you grow a third hand I doubt it. |

HOLY $#!+ JUST WATCHED THE VIDEO AND NOW IM THINKING OF QUITTING GUITAR AND TAKING UP ELECTRIC TRIANGLE. MAYBE THE KAZOO. THAT GUY IS AMAZING. HOPEFULLY SOMEONE CAN POST A PIC OF HIM PLAYING THE DOUBLE NECK OR THE QUAD NECK GUITAR. WATCHING HIM PLAY LEFTHANDED AND RIGHT HANDED AT THE SAME TIME IS REALLY DEPRESSING. SIMPLY AMAZING TALENT. |

I saw him play this tune live three or four time at NAMM and he does it without ever breaking a sweat. He would arrive at the Dean Booth and warm up for about a minute or two - that's all! Then he would put a Hardtail through it's paces and everyone there was totally floored. Michael has played guitar for 8-10 hours a day since he was about 8 years old. He nails the tune every time. I sure hope Elliott can arrange for Michael to come to DOA III. I swear you have never seen anything like this! |

"Call to Arms" is OK. It's gives you an idea of how he plays. Gets old after a short while though. "Must have" may be a bit much. But he is a "must see" as a performer. |
