As I'm trying to learn more about the guitar I'm wondering, what classifies a Guitar as a Jazz Guitar or a Rock Guitar and etc ?
Pardon the newbie question but I figure this would be the best place to ask.

nothing realley clasifys it but dif pickups will give you dif souns as will amps generallys humbuckers are best for rock and singlecoils are best for jazz and whatnot usually "jazz" guitars are semi hollowbodies guitars
