That's way too much in my opinion, and the Icon is my favorite Dean model. For a bolt on I'd say no more than $200, with a case. I was just going to post about an Icon that I had that I sold to someone here on the board. I was looking at the guitar blue book today and it appears I was mistaken on the model I had. I always thought it was an Icon AX,but according to the 7th edition of the book (2001), theone I had doesn't exist. Confused The description matches the Icon Flame exactly, except mine was trans black quilt, not flame. It had the small, offset V headstock (duckbill), set neck, Grover tuners, fixed bridge, chrome hardware. Everything matches except the flame/quilt thing. According to the book, the only Icon with a trans black quilt top was the Icon Ultima, but none of the features I had match that. Wonder what the heck it was?
