Hey guys, my name is Dave...sorry if I get the wrong forum(only one shows up!) ...I just purchased my first dean guitar today. I actually had it on layaway for about a month and a half. Its a 1996 Custom Shop USA model Baby Z, complete w/ full binding, 59s...one hot guitar. I'm a lefty, so I'm going to be flipping it upside down and getting a new nut, intonation adjustment, etc. But I must say I am impressed w/ this guitar. I think the store originally had it for $1400...but I picked it up for $800, because for the 6-7 years it had been in the store, nobody bought it!( they still have its twin sister for sale, a Dean ML, dark translucent blue) Pictures will be posted asap. I myself just picked up a Baby Z a few weeks ago.
Big headstock and floyd rose. {should be cool}
Trouble is, that the woman I bought it from has yet to ship it to me.
She says, "I can't find a box that it will fit in."
I was laughing my arse off as I sent her a reply stating that she could just go to the local music store and get a guitar box.
They throw those away y'know.
