Hi people.
I just got my MLX back from the shop today, I had a Bill lawrence L500XK pickup put in, and also some new stings. I tried the Zakk Wylde signature series strings. Well the low end is just to damm heavy, their like steel beams. So I wanna put some light guage strings on myself. This is the model with no tremolo on it. Is there anything i need to know?... what will i have to adjust if i go down to GHS boomers 9's.
heres a link to a picture of my guitar with the new pup in it.

You won't know what to adjust until they're on. You may need to tweek the truss rod and bridge height. You may have to do the adjustment overa few days, as the neck changes could occur over that period of time. Have fun! |

A good in between theZakk Wyldes and the light 9s is the GHS Boomer TNTs thin top thick bottom, they are 10-52. Very comfortable to play. |

or Ernie Ball Hybrids. The high 3 strings are "9s", the thicker 3 are "10s" |
