Greetings folks...I have a question;
I have a 1981 Dean ML bass with one pick up...it's one of the large cream colored pups. The odd thing is that the bass has three control knobs (pots). One is obviously the volume knob, but the other two both seem to control the tone and interact with each other, although exactly what they're doing and how they're interacting isn't obvious. Sometimes they actually seem to cancel each other's effects. Anyone have any idea what these two tone (?) knobs are doing?

I have an 81 G&L bass with the same set-up. One is a bass cut and the other a treble cut on mine. Basicly a two band graphic. Yours may be different but sounds like it's the same.
