I'm guessing there's some kind of hockey game going on? One of these days the US may take that "sport" seriously. Cool Very Happy It's football season down here in the colonies at the moment, no time for snaggletoothed men named Guy.

Well, North American teams haven't been too succesful in the World Championship games lately. But Canada has won the title a lot more times than Finland.

I hope it's our time again this year.

Hans, I'm glad that Holland made it in the games! Wink

When I was about 10 years, my biggest football idol was Van Basten. Ah the good old times. Van Basten, Gullit, Kueman.

Man...from a tie to scoring on ourselves and handing the Americans the Gold Medal. Yeech. Well at least we gave it to them instead of them actually winning it...sorta like their president! Very Happy
I hope this doesn't mean we're going to have to endure a TV movie about this.

Geez, ya think I'm gonna get flamed for that?!

J/K...congrats guys, enjoy the glory.

Did Canada have that Penguins goalie in net? (Think he was sent down the juniors to get some more experience and wins under his belt)

Yup Mikko times have changed I agree...we ain;t playing like we used to...but I am shure we are still a force to be reckoned with!

We always seem to have trouble to qualify for major tournaments but in teh most of the time wedo quite well, though i must be honest it hasn't been sparkling the last few tournaments..

Van Basten is one of the best players ever...shame he was totally demolished in Italy!

But there's too little money in Holland to keep the real good players here, plsu the tax environment is quite hostile for players with that kinda salaries...in Spain and Italy they do everything to keep the players heppy (financially) so we always have to settle for the lesser players.......all the good ones get picked up by Italian, Spanish and English clubs!

the Only kangaroo i saw while I was in Ozz was a dead one lying aside the road, real sad BTW!

I saw a lot of Kangaroos but in parks not really in the wild...

the same here in Holland they think we have windmills everywhere and coffeeshops on every corner (well maybe in Amsterdam...)
