If you have no way to save the neck can it be replaced and where can I find a neck? Dean says they can't get one for me because it's a series II........The larger one, or is it a III? Rolling Eyes

Series II is the larger headstock and suppossedly the new Korean 79 Series Deans are coming with the Series II headstock. I have also heard mention in the forum somewhere that the USA line was going to be available with series II headstocks.

AARGH!!!!!!!!!!!

I just got some FTP upload software, so clips will be coming soon. I just met with the artist that is doing the CD cover yesterday (it is almost ready - a pic might be up next weekend). We're also figuring out what the logo should look like (went through TONS of iterations). At the same time I am wrapping up tracking for the CD and mixing continues. Oh yeah, we are also searching for a new drummer. I just wanted to get SOMETHING up so that people didn't think we dropped off of the planet.

Sorry for hi-jacking the thread. Rolling Eyes

When I asked the price for the Custom ML or V from Dave, I wanted the Series II headstock. It took awhile from him to get a hold of Dean B and he gave me the price with Series II headstock.

A "friend" borrowed the guitar and it came back with the neck busted at the 7th fret. It needs a new neck and I was told by someone at the factory because it was a series II they could not help. I know someone who can do the work. Anyone know where I can find a neck? Rolling Eyes

Dean Z told me they were tooled for series 2 stock necks. I was going to buy that Brazilia 81 ML of the bay last week and replace the neck with a new one but the seller backed out. Email Dean Z and tell him what you need.

I sent Dean email and the response was so unbelievable that to say I support Dean Z. and his guitars is a huge understatement. He is the nicest guy in the entire galaxy!!! Not to mention the fact that he builds the upmost baddass metal machines ever forged. Hail Dean Z. you are a class act. Cool
