Man, I really need to bite the bullet and buy me a TC V after reading that. I've been thinking about it ever since playing one at DOA II.

Great timing for all this too -- people looking to spend Christmas money on a new guitar. I'm sure the issues of Guitar Player around this time of year are the most read. Just what Dean Guitars needed -- great reviews to pick up new customers.

I thought it was strange that the guy in the review said the Caddy and ML sounded the same to him. I've only played one caddy and one ML at the same time, but they were obviously different. The ML was brighter, but didn't seem to have the body, not that it was lacking, just different.

I also don't have a problem sitting with any of my Vs, they actually sit very nice if you wear a strap and sit the crotch of the V on one leg.

I only have a vintage E'lite....but my TC's pretty much sound the same...does't matter wether it is an ML or a Z, not much in any case...

The E'lite also sin't far off I dunno I always use the same PU's and the same amps, I dial them in so they sound like I want them to sound...Guess I am looking for a particular tone...

There is a differece but it's not that much.....

Man oh man, that's a glowing review and strong endorsement for Dean. Hopefully, it'll bring them back to the attention of some folks and generate some serious interest.

I have been pushing DEAN a lot on some Dutch forums, people have become more aware and appreciate DEAN much more now...there's still some resistance to teh V headstocks, but there are more and more people openly expressing their acceptance and that they look quite cool!

I am shure DEAN will be back on track pretty soon, I have posted pics of teh most beautiful DEANs we all have seen, and we all know the finishes and the tops almost can't be beat by any other manufacturer!
