Got a black/gold ML from Alan yesterday. Managed to lose my phone in an NYC taxi this morning, so pictures will be posted soon.
Sounds like a beast, plays great, and is probably the lightest ML I own! |

Wanna hear a funny story? True story here. That exact Black Gold ML was in a pawn shop here in Tampa. I offered them $300.00 plus tax for it. They turned me down. They sold it on Ebay for less than that (also minus Ebay fees) to Alan. He then did a bit of work on it, and while it looks a bit different, it's still the great guitar it was. I wanted that one, but I am glad it's in the family. Plus, there was no way I can buy one tuning peg off that guitar, much less the whole thing. So congrats, and as always, have fun. |

Wow, that's really cool! I love hearing the backstory on a guitar that isn't new when I buy it. I like this guitar alot; tomorrow I'll put it through its paces tomorrow night at practice and see how good it is.
