Hey, has anyone here had any experience with a Fender Jim Adkins ja-90?
I may be able to swap my ML and a little bit of money for a new one in the natural finish locally. But it would need to be ordered in, so it would be a buy before you try deal
What are your thoughts and opinions on the guitar?
Also, if i get it i would be tempted to drop a p90 sized DiMarzio Super Distortion Humbucker in the bridge, just to make it a bit more geared for a heavier sound.
Cheers,
Baz

Stick with the P90s. Variety is good when it comes to tone. You'll dig em. Raunchy as hell through the right amp. |
Matt has it right, p90's SCREAAAAM!
That's a beauty of a Tele, too! |

What both of them said. That looks so killer! I played a thinline Tele this past weekend and fell in love with it. It didn't even look as good as this one. |

if you all like that one take a peek at the old school natural tele with the baseball bat neck. Butterscotch blonde...
That being said it looks like a great one and I agree with the p90 comment. Between your fingers and the right amp they are nasty as sun-baked sheeyit. I think everyone should have more p90's in their lives. Me personally get a little concerned about teles with the f. That's just me though I think. I prefer the twang that they have and for some reason those ones don't get it for me which I'm sure is how I play. Worse comes to worse though it's gorgeous so rock the hell out of it. |

I've been gassing for one of these. Never played one. But a semi-hollow with p90s, you can't lose |
