Of course not! What you do 20-30-40 YEARS ago prevents ANY change or evolution of your character.
We can NEVER allow ourselves to be swayed by someone who has done wrong in the past no matter HOW long ago it may have been.
People are kicked out of office for public drunkiness, so I guess if you have ever been drunk, ever smokes pot, ever had sex with someone under 18 (even if you were both 17) or ever broken the law, you can not be trusted with your political ideals. |
