I'm surprised to see the SC approaching 5K..., I've seen 'em for BIN at $3500 with all the candy.
I had a guy who was gonna do $2700 on an SC that still had the plastic on the pups a couple of years ago.
Maybe cause it's #33 or the wicked flame on that one, or folks just don't let go of them anymore. |

The last 2 Buyers on the 2 Southern Crosses did NOT Pay! I watch this everyday just like you, but my point is the buyer had 0% feedback, so I hope he's not one of those "HATERS" out there and pays this guy for his guitar! That would suck , cuz this poor guy already had to re-list it twice....Hopefully not "3 times a Lady"
I forgot but I think only $2600 for the D-Plate... Everybody thought that it was fake cuz of that almost pickguard looking thing , but I assure you it's real & a deal! Put that on the later ones from the Tops to keep from coming up ...Yeah $6000 for #33 , maybe that was why? The 3's? I sware if it's a #1, 3, 33, 50, or 100, people want em'! Maybe anything with 3 in it is Dimes Fav. #,I have 32 & it looks exactly alike but his was made about 20 guitars before mine cuz even tho they number them, the serial number stamped is the true order it was made in.. Yeah Funny how one day I see one fecth for $2800, and then Next week later it goes for double that??? The Washy's keep going up or actually Flucuating ,plus this new generation of fans want them & the older guys who grew up with them as well ...I got offered locally an UNBELIVIABLE amount for one of my rarer ones & I'm not even gonna lie , I guess the guy doesn't know about eBay cuz he offered more than I thought it was worth! I might take him up on the offer buy I swore I would never sell any, cuz I just wanted a Rebel to be finished with the collection...$6000 tho, a little much, Kootos to the seller, better than the one up North on Craigslist for over $7000
Sometimes the "Completed Listings" takes a day , it use to not do that but, I think it depends on the computer you use. But it will show what it went for , pretty sure on that price , I think. |
