NGD! (Dean Content and Pron)

Good evening gents!

So, as some of you may know I went to check out a Deceiver about 90 mins from me straight after work to tonight. Any way one thing led to another and I took this baby home! It was a bargain and the guy selling it was really nice and was telling me about how he got his hands on this guitar. Apparently he is good friends with Chris Jones and got this Deceiver through our very own Matt Speed (Guitar Ninja) in 2010 and was one of the first in the UK. The axe itself is in really good condition as it's only been used for recording and rehearsals, etc. a couple of small blemishes and the fretboard could do with a good coat of lemon oil and set of my own favourite strings. Other than that I love it, the EMG's rock and the neck feel really sweet.

I've given it a small clean up, so here's some pron. Sorry for the quality but photobucket compressed the hell out of the pictures and they were only taken on my iPhone.

This guitar has made me genuinely excited about playing again. I'm going to get some stuff from the music shop on Saturday and I'll probably pick up a new speaker cab, or even a new amp. I'm not really feeling my HT5 at the moment and I want a fresh start.

I also need to find a Hardcase for this sucka somewhere. I can't seem to find one online...

I like it. Mine is just a bolt on neck not nearly as nice as a set neck, good purchase ,enjoy !

Awesome Matt! I love a guitar with a story. I'm thinking about getting another amp. Going to grab an Orange 1x12 over the weekend I think. Any personal recommendations on a low wattage tube amp? I think my Blackstar will sound 10000x better with a new Cab. But I am intrigued by the Dark Terror.

Get a TH30 combo... It's got the gain of the Dark Terror and is amazing. I had the head for a while. Awesome looking guitar by the way. The Deceiver is great looking.

Great snag. I love Deceivers. And it goes very nicely with the matching ML.
