I was thinking about getting one of those Dean ML 1,000 USA's.. But since no place around here's got one and I can't try it out.. I was wondering if one of y'all have one, and if you think it's a good guitar? |

I bought this metallica white 1000 ml early this year. Plays and sounds good, better than my imports. But you can't compare it to my time capsule. I use the 1000 ml for practicing with my band, playing on stage.. since it's only a one coloured guitar, you can use use it really rough with out getting dings and dongs into your holy time capsule, which I only use for recording or at home.
It's a good usa guitar, but don't expect custom shop quality.

100% truth. It's on par with some other USA guitars but doesn't compare to the custom shop stuff.

Thanks for the info man! I'll keep my eyes peeled for a time capsule. |

Really, I thought it was the opposite? I always thought they were mostly base model or extra stock USA's that were painted overseas to save cash. |
That is EXACTLY what I said... What did you read?
