Just came back from Sam Ash, they had SG and Flying Vs at 799 each with hardshell cases, not faded, full on models.
The SG was a standard with trap inlays as well as rosewood fretboard...

I am this close -> <- to pick up one of those V's
4Sound of Sweden happens to have a similar Gibson blowout but due to taxes and whatnot it equates to roughly $1000,
which may seem alot compared to Sam Ash prices
anyhoo, the V is a '68 RI
