Saw Killswitch in Dallas this past Sunday with Shadow's Fall at Trees. Shadow's Fall played a killer set as did KSE and it was really cool to see them play with Jessie again. Trees is a great venue because it's so small so no matter where you're at in the bar you have a good view of what's goin on. After the show we went bar hopping in Deep Ellum. Funny cuz we strolled into this bar that was near empty and turns out a bunch of the band members where there so we hung out with them and had way too many shots and beers! Ended up talking to the drummer for Shadow's Fall for about 45 mins...he was way down to earth and very approachable. Didn't bother them for any pics cuz they where kickin it and didn't want to be that guy. Ended up getting to bed at 4:00 the next morning and had to wake up at 7 to go to work hungover like a MF but it was well worth it. All in all an epic night of metalz! |

Gotta love those nights. Those guys are all really awesome. I am a huge John Donais fan. I was hoping he was going to play in Ozzy when Zakk left. Years ago there was rumor of it but I guess a rumor is all it was.
Just remember... If you don't like the song... Don't blame the guitar

Both killer bands. Two of the best in modern metal mainstream.
Sounds like a killer time! Glad you had fun. |
