I am just blown away by this.
As some of you guys (& gals) might remember, there was a raffle about two years ago to help raise some cash for Pick With Austin. I donated because I thought it was a good cause. I never expected to win, and was shocked when I did.
NT sent his BC Rich to Sac. Sac was going to custom paint it and then ship it to me. I even saw some in-progress pics. But no one has heard from Sac in about a year, and I have no idea where the guitar is.
For the past couple months NT and I have been PMing back and forth. He felt bad and wanted to make it up to me, I told him he didn't have to. We went back and forth on this, and well, this showed up today. I was shocked when I opened the box. I know how much he liked this guitar.
I am just blown away by his generosity. This guitar is awesome and will never be sold. Thanks bro!

Yeah it was VERY awesome. I was like a little kid on Christmas. I couldn't wait to get home from work and play it
It plays great too. The action is nice and low, the neck is great, and the EMG p'ups sound pretty decent. And the paint job is bad-ass. I love it.
Thanks again bro!
Oh yeah, and he threw in two sets of strings. How nice is that? |

That is unbelievable. I have no idea where the F Sac disappeared Tobit Karma is the biggest bithch.
Darrel - you are a rare personality and I mean that in the best heartfelt way. You went way above and beyond the call of duty. Karma is smiling so big on you it's eclipsing the sun brotha.
This changed my feelings today. There is hope for a sensible future after all. |

Thanks Everyone. I really am just an ordinary guy. I just could not sit by and let him take the loss on this. Maybe one day Sac will come thru, And maybe not. I just wanted him to have the guitar promised him. And I could not have peace in my heart til this was satisfied.
BTW I wish no ill will on Sac at all. Maybe something happened that we do not know about. I truly hope he is OK. A or the guitar I sent him is just a guitar. I truly hope he is OK. |

Well, actually it was your loss. You were out the Gunslinger, and now the ML. I wasn't out anything and didn't expect anything. But since we went over this like a billion times via PM I'll just keep my mouth shut now |

Your patience earned you that guitar my friend. I am honored to be able to deliver it to you. BTW I was not alone as Jeff Curly paid the shipping. And I thank him for all he has done as well.

The pups are just fine. They sound good through my amp. For some of the guys with a different amp or whatever, they may not work as well. But for me they sound great. |

I'm very pleased that this situation has been resolved. It is sad that something set up to do so much good was otherwise thwarted. Darell is a stand up guy and right prevails. Play that guitar well, young Skywalker! |

Last I spoke to Sac he was off of the guitar thing and focusing on his body work for cars... I had a project I had sent to him months before I received it but when he shipped it back, it came with a pod express pedal because he felt bad. I'm sure he probably just hasn't had time and it's slipped his mind. |

BULLSH!T, don't even try to make excuses for a guitar that was supposed to be shipped 2 years ago or for the loser who hosed a charitable act
Darrell gave up his own s#%t to make this deal right and is still out another guitar, Jeff paid the shipping. Though those altruistic acts are great, Sac 'o sh!t has more reimbursment to make to really right this ship. People doing great things for a charitable cause should not be further footing the expenses
How have you been Jeff? Good to see you post. Merry Christmas to you and the family (and Carolee) |

Poor Darrell prolly needs a drink real bad like... |
I am many miles south of you in Texas. And I never bought into the world ending. LOL. That is Funny though. I don't like Beer But you can buy me a shot of Whiskey or Tequila. |
I am going to make a Whiskey Cake tomorrow. Well, I'm going to try anyway. What do you think would be a good whiskey to put in there? All I have at the house is JD. |

I'm not excusing it at all. I was just relaying what little info I had on him. I actually think I may still have number so I'm going to see what I can find out. |

The first quote was what I based my comment on and your second comment seems contradictory. Perhaps I just read it wrong, it's all good
I am sure Darrell would love to have his Gunslinger back |
