I wanna change the red LED to a bright blue or green one. Bored of the red.
What would I need to do to make this happen/Can it be done?

I know this isnt what you asked BUT - how does the modified od sound? I want to try overdrive instead of distortion, and this one looks badass. |

Most LEDs are close enough in tolerence that you can change to a different color. You'll notice that the back of the led has a notch in it. The new one will have a longer leg on one side and a notch. As long as you orientate the new led the same as the old one you'll be ok. There is a biasimg resistor that sets the current going to the led. The new one may be brighter or not depending on the existing resistor. I could recommend an LED if I had a schematic on the pedal. I say give it a go if you know how to solder and take stuff apart. |

I will pick one up sometime. Is it best suited for boosting already distorted amp settings, or for totally distorting a lightly distorted amp setting? If you can get what im trying to say. Haha |

I use it on my clean channel. Those videos were just the m77se's gain possibilities. Good huh.

Not as bored as some. I'd just like an awesome colour instead of the boring red |

Cool blue would be good, but the boost light is blue. Thinking green or white.
You have to film it though. Can't not film it Ron. |

I just got in some water clear blue LEDs yesterday. They look killer. Going to be throwing them into my next few pedals. I'd say go for it George. |
