Amazing! Fender 1949/1951 Telecaster Broadcaster Nocaster Vintage Guitar / Prototype - YouTube

This is awesome, great story and lovely guitar.

Really makes me love Fender even more, but kinda dislike the corporation it has become.

Nice post. It is a bummer though that the crowded and gear loaded independent shops are few and far between now around here. Kinda have to go back and just do it for the love of guitars and have other income if you are a shop owner in my neck of the woods.

Can't blame you George. FMIC owns Charvel / Jackson, Guild, Gretsch, Hamer, and Ovaition. But they aren't in great financial shape either, for buying out their competition. Gibson I think only owns the Kramer line which they bought out.

You can still build a USA style Fender lookalike cheaper than what Fender would charge you.

I hear ya Felice,
Something about a guitar made by Fender just zings with me. I probably just love Fender too much Laughing

You can build a partscaster which sounds and plays like an American Fender yeah. The guys do it all the time on Strat-Talk.

http://fender.com/fmic/ look how many brands! Shocked

Coo vid indeed
I havent put my tele down since Christmas. Best playing guitar in my collection. I've been searching for tele parts in my area for my own PartsOcaster. Lots of people want gold for their goods on CL tho.
