Hello guys
i dunno, whether it's the right place to post, but i've heard that the dean forum is a place of a lot of knowledge
I wanted to ask for your help with identifiyng the serial number of this guitar.
It's 961236
I wanted to discover the birthplace of mah guitar.

It's a 1996 Tropical lametop LTD, not a bad looking guitar at all. Probably built somewhere in the Southeast, I don't know who built guitars for Tropical

Another question here - how many of these guitars have been produced? (approx)
I was told that it is an almost custom shop, due to Dean havent been making serial guitars by that time.

AFAIK, USA Dean always had serial numbers. The Tropicals were stamped on the end of the fretboard and the old Dean's behind the headstock

Tropicals are hit and miss, if you get a good one, they are awesome. The 1996's are considered a great year overall

Sorry, i meant that they had no mass production (serial production) AFAIK, not the serial numbers.. Smile

Well, my one seems to be a real good hit, sound's kickass and veeeery comfortable to play.
Also, i was really surprised by it's condition, it's like new and never played, just a few scratches.
