Hi there,

does anyone know if the Dime D100 amp is also made for the European market?
So with a 220-240 volts connection?

Or is it only made for 110 volts?

Thou be thanked!

I'm pretty sure it is, I've seen some in the UK.

in the manual, it says that it runs on both 110v and 240v.
But it doesn't say how:
-are there two versions; a USA and a European?
-is there like a switch on the backside?
-does it work with some inner transformation-system (whatever, Im not technical)

No one seems to be able/wants to answer this one.
I mailed Dean already, no answer.
A store in the UK keeps giving me crap answers that dont help at all.

I kinda wanna know, d@mned......
I really don't wanna have to use an extra step-up transformer or a converter or something

I checked the back of mine and it had both 120v and 230v printed but there was a 230v sticker separately, so I am pretty sure mine only works at 230v. So yeah, I think they have different transformers.

Aha, now we're getting somewhere. So, apparantly there are like two batches made.
That kinda gives me hope cause I have no doubt that GAK in the UK sells the proper version. Although the morons can't seem to answer that themselves.

I just tried to blow up a picture of the back of the head, not real clear but is that a voltage selector switch next to thepower plug lead in? Possibly also an internal switch if not?

EDIT I called TJ's Music in Massachusetts and NO, you have to order European voltage. He said he can drop ship you one anytime. He is an authorized Dean seller supposedly since I got it off the Armadillo website
