silly question, no experience with them cept they look amazing in pix.

I always thought they were chambered and had huge voids to get from the pickup cavity to the selector switch and volume/tone nob cavity, since the back is one laminate with no access to the cavities. someone please explain.

1. are they chambered.?I see them over 9 pounds and listed as solid body and heavier than other solid body LP's

2. is there a big ass hole from the pickup cavities to get to the selector switch and nob cavity?

There's no access to the cavities? that seems like a really stupid, inconvenient idea.

Unless they Changed the jack socket you are not soldering anything through the stock hole. I'm using my AFD for reference.

They cost so damn much that I wouldn't ever know, as I'd never touch one! There's more important stuff to buy, like a new car, TV, or stereo.

I already have a new car, two huge tv's, bose surround sound, a stereo and a new house and all that. I dont think i can justify buying one though . the two I have been looking at are 3500 and 4k. who knows. I'm only in tire kicking mode right now anyways. Ill probably make a few long distant drives to play a few before I make the decision to part with money. my mood changes from day to day.

We must be on the same G.A.S plain or something! I've been considering a Supreme and/or LP too, and had the same questions.
I get different answers on the tone...some say it sounds like a hollow body and other say it sounds close to an LP....another argument on tone...go figure.

As for cost? I've been watching eBay for months and most I have seen go for around $2,400 - $2,600 ish.

oh, and Tom...a car maybe....but a TV, stereo more important than a new guitfiddle??? lol

Hmmm... these are great guitars. Just because they are hollow does not mean that they lacks tone. Ever play a Martin acoustic? It does not take much wood to get good tone, resonance is the key with these and they have a ton of it
