Yea me to but guy has great feedback and its eBay so if its messed up back in the box it goes. Guy said its mint though. So gassed ! Just got a rg100es to. Black tolex

naa just have my mesa rec 4x12 v30 cab. im sure its up to the task.. I found a rg100es black tolex white face and foot switch for 200 today and then for the hell of it went on ebay and did my random warhead search and boom! guy just listed it to .. I had to buy it!

You will still like it my man....If you ever get the chance tho, snatch you them speakers or all you really need is that bottom cab with the 2/15's cause Vintage 30's are the Best anyways and will blend nicely

was thinking if i like the x2 more ill sell the new rg100es i just bought off a guy on cl. But every time i sell my rg i always want another . Laughing

my friends make fun of me for playing them do to my room of tube heads from mesa to engl to bogner to vht lol. something about that ss tone that just gets me haaa

Dude good question , cuz they have Different sounds...Some Folks absolutely LOVE the X2's , so that's why I got one and the Rg/ES with my Frurman 4, Blue 6 band, & MXR Doubler is on the other side, Different types & sounds of Distortion...I really Like My Rg/ES with effects some days better more than anything , but I still do Play the X2 for like some FBD Tones, tune it in right and the Bottom end I was saying is Deep & Nasty! Even in the Handbook they talk about the speakers specifically being made for that Cab , but Chk. Craigslist, or if you need help I have seen a few lately , One at a Pawn Shop or one on Craigslist ...I have said this many times though depending on which 4-12 Warhead cab you buy , always check inside the cab for people taking the Vintage 30's out and check for the Crossover Network , cause people always take them out too! Actually sounds better without it though but still ,Personally don't like people messing around with the insides! Usually no one will mess with the 15's, just the TOP Cab Wink

well with my rg i boost it with a mt2 and sounds good. I just want them to mess around with as im a dime fan to . But when i jam with the band i use my mesa mark 4. I had a first gen warhead once and sold it with in a week . It sounded like ass .. I have always wanted a x2 but they sell for like 800 when they are around!!

again Great price, and u got that for a steal seeings how a portion are missing , another fraction are lemons , but I have NEVER had an ISSUE with mine & you shoud be good! Wink

I had a warhead full stack a wile back . The cab was wired weird i could not run it at 8 ohms if i remember correctly. The two fifteen cab was also ehhh to me . Looked cool

I use a 2x12 with old jags with my X2 and its more than enough to shatter my ear drums.

Really these amps should be selling for a lot more seen as there are less than 300 right ?

Is that true? I read today that dime tested one right before the band broke up and he parted ways with randall and went to krank.

Did you have the NEW Looking Weird MIC ELIMINATOR Input Jacks on back, last Warheads made? & Yes K.O.F. about 300 made, so if you find one that WORKS, KEEP IT! (Cause of all the Lemons)

The case i had was i could not run it at 8ohms mono. it was 16 ohms and 8 stereo . I hated it. Hands down the first warheads suck lol I would never play it live or even out of my house. When live i use my mark 4 or my engl savage or duel rectifier boosted with a maxon

What kind of 4-12 Vin 30 you have , 8 or 16?

there was no switch on cab. 16 ohm speakers i think. I dont have it any more. I only use mesa cabs

I am ALMOST POSITIVE you had one of the last ones built and you can actually make them 8 ohm. That or someone Switched out the speakers, and I am sure even tho it would not ever be the first time , all you needed to do was hit a tiny switch to the right...But we will never know , unlee you want me to find some PICS for ya?

like i said it had no switch . I probably posted it in some thread on here back in the day. what do you mean by 8 7 16 ohms together that makes no sense lol.. the speakers were wired in series keeping them 16 ohms .. they could have been wired in parallel to bring it to 8 ohms mono just never did it.

The thing is , You can't throw a Bunch of effect on the X2, too much Crazy Noise and wind!

I LOVE them Both, if I had a choice, Randall rg/ES100 , with the Furmn 4, Blue6 Band, & MXR Doubler/Flanger , & an ISP or dome kind of Noise Decimator, in a SECOND!!!

The X2 has a More Digital sound but when you CHUG , it is DEEP, like almost FBD DEEP! I Love the all around Distortion with all those effect on the older Randall, plus they were the Heart & Should of his SOUND!!! Almost Metallica Soundish on Power ChORDS....But it has BALLS!

Either is good tho....

selling off one of my rg100es heads .. Herd the x2 is the warhead to have by far.. Will just have to see when it comes Tuesday

Have you heard the Rg with the Effects? I am a Personal fan of that better & I have them BOTH! But we all are entitled to our own opinions! Cool cuz its rare (X2), it breaks down , You might just be Screwed, but I HOPE it works for you! Wink

I got lucky and found one up North in Super MINT Condition! Even stll smelled new, he did NOT want to sell and we went back & forth for 6 Months!!! He finally said uhhh , Alright, some Ol' Man Rolling Eyes

, Cool guy tho , but it is Perfect and I Love her, You will enjoy it I am just trying to get you the BEST sound as Possible, that's all buddy! Cool

You gotta have the full meal deal with the 4x12 and 2x15 cabs, with the volume cranked to about 4. Then it's ear shattering perfection. Without both cabs the X2 experience is very lacking.

I feel the same i have three recto cabs. tried it with one and it was a tone i would not be proud of with a five year old.. hooked it up to two cabs and sounded Evan worse ! as of it being loud its all right.. my fireball 60 buried it.. May be im use to real amps. Ill tell you what a rg100es with a metal zone with s#%t on this amp..

sold mine in 1 hour for double of what i paid on ebay. mine was like new
