Thinking of selling my mark 4 to get a Marshall Kerry king? Any one own one? The mark is the best sounding tube head to me but had it for like 6 years and always wanted a 2203kk. seen a vid of corpse jamming on one and sounded BALLS!!!

Dude corpse was gettin jacked in that video of him playing the kk. Like he forgot how good it was.

I think the mesa is more versatile. But the kk is more of a devastating brootz machine. I could be wrong. But also the mesa seems more modern and the kk has more crunch. I barely know what im talking about so keep asking.

have you considered getting a proper A/B/Y box and combining the mark IV with another amp? I'll bet you would crap your pants.

Cantrell, Dime, Zakk Wylde, and many more pros use 2 heads or more to get their tone to sound so fantastic. I started doing this recently and there is just no way to describe how sweet it can sound. I set one a little dry thin and the other a little bassy and compressed, and its so clear and thick when you get 2 in stereo working with each other.

I am not sure what the difference is. I just have never heard any good clips. There are quite a few other marshalls I would buy other than the slayer jcm800. but that is me. lots of people like them. I think corpses is modded but not sure and havent heard his either. with any marshall there are good and bad sounding ones. get a splawn quickrod or nitro if you want a tricked out marshall sound or pick up a used jcm800 and have it modded to your liking. Id say if you are going to buy something though, go play a shiton of amps and decide what is best for you. there are so many good choices on the market now its unreal.

Keep the Boogie. Many people ask me "Are you going to sell your Boogies now that you are using a rackmount?" The answer is no. I needed a balls out metal amp that did a Marshall and a Rectifier. So thats the reason why I have a rackmount. I'd like to get another Piranha as a spare, but they are few and far between. I may have to get an Engl E530 as a spare.
