So after seeing a lot of people talk about BareKnuckle pickups, I decided to check their website out. After researching, I think I might get a Warpig to put in my BC Rich Chuck Stealth. Anyone have any experience with these pickups? thoughts?

I've only played the Holydivers. They are very well built and come in some very cool finish options. I found the Holydiver bridge to be a little hot for my tastes, but in the neck it sounded amazing.

I'm looking for something that's hotter, but not wanting to go active. I like what I've seen and heard for the most part, haven't heard much first hand experience though.

Are you looking for an active-type tone or are you dead-set on the Warpig?

The Miracle Man sounds similar to an EMG to my ears. I liked the Warpig the most for Metal tho.

The Black Hawk should be looked at as well. If I ever get a set - it'll be either the War Pig or Black Hawk set.

But expect to pay a pretty penny. They're fairly expensive.

send an email to sales@bareknucklepickups.co.uk and tell em what guitar, woods, style you play, tuning, etc and Tim will tell you exactly what pickup will be the best option for you. dude is a wizard and has yet to steer me wrong. I have a Nailbomb set and a Holy Diver bridge - both purchases from his suggestion - they make great pickups! a bit spendy but I don't think they sound like anything else

Watch my band play American Idiot.

From 00:01 to 01:37, the two guitar are completely homogenized together playing the exact same parts. Why do I love the BKP Warpig in my bridge soooooo much Question Just listen, on this mediocre recording, to my Soltero separate from his Jackson during the lead (01:37 - 02:10). The EMG's in his Jackson sound awesome, but the sound is so different. I find the EMG's raunchy yet compressed. You can hear the notes ring clear and jump outta the amp with the BKP Warpig.

We're both on the dirty channel in this one, my Mesa, his Marshall..., but the pick ups are one of the major factors in the difference in our tones:

You be the judge Cool
