Recently, I've gotten all kinds of new toys. Did some cab swapping and got my matching Bogner Ubercab and traded an OS mesa recto cab for this traditional recto cab. Big improvement on the traditional size cab. Also found some good deals on guitars that I couldn't pass up. The slime and the stealth on the pic in the right are on the docket for some serious custom paint jobs in the future. This slime is the second guitar that I've had come with a Dimebucker in the neck position. I hate this pickup as a bridge pickup but it does make a damn fine neck pickup. If you have one laying around you should try it out because it's very sweet sounding. And yes your eyes will glow like mine when holding 2 stealths at one time lol! Thought I'd share my good finds.

I've been hot on the Washy trail lately. About to snag another one it looks like. I'm real fortunate to have a whole room dedicated to music/practice/recording. When I was getting my house built it was a must-have! |

why did you trade the larger oversized for the smaller tradional, i've played both a thousand times i like the bigger myself, what did you hear that made you switch?
Tighter bottom end is what i keep hearing but i just don't hear it...
Nice setup though |

I wouldn't say a tighter bottom end, but more of a midrange focus and crispness is what I've noticed. For my amp, it seemed to compliment it much better than the os cab did. Side by side the traditional sounded much better to me personally. |
