Hello,
Yes, I did receive the CD and I loved it, I made a
copy for my grandson, I hope you don't mind. He would
never make one for anyone else. I am so sorry, I
cannot believe I didn't write to you and thank you for
sharing it with me. So let me say thank you and I
appreciate it so much. My copy is here in the computer
room along with all of Chuck's.
I am sorry you are going back to Korea, I have been
worried about that situation for months. I hope all
simmers down and that we don't get in any more wars. I
feel so much sorrow for all the families in the world
every time I hear that yet another of our young men is
hurt, or worse. My thoughts for your safety will be
with you and I hope you let me know how you are, if
you have access to email.
As for ex-wives and ex-husbands, they all go away
eventually and find other things to do. I know this.
To me life stands still, I don't know if this pain
will ever go away, I seem to miss Chuck more instead
of less, and the sorrow that he is not here is fresh
everyday. And the memories of his struggle.
Take care, don't forget to let me know how you are.
Best regards,
Jane Schuldiner
My request is for fellow metalheads to send Jane an email sometime to just tell her how appreciated she is by the metal community, as I have already done! The holidays are hard for her, especially these past couple of years since Chuck's passing. Thanks guys!
Remain Calm !! All is well!!!
Folks, don't worry! Everything will be back to normal soon. And if this forum ends up being permanent, then we will just have to get used to it. This really isn't all that bad. I like it just fine!
Has everybody voted for prez yet?
I did...I just wanted to say I voted how I felt, and that I think that ALL of the candidates can do an outstanding job, so good luck to all...
Guys, I want to put my avatar back up, but, umm, I can't find the url...anyone got any suggestions? Or even a pic of me with the white ML...that would be nice...but I can't find any pics...any help at all is cool

What members live in Texas?
Just wanted to know
Hey ALL -
We had a serious server issue over the holiday. Since it is the holiday weekend, we have not been able to get to the bottom of this yet. Will have answers as to how soon we can be back to normal on Monday when all the parties concerned are back to work. Pete was able to get 90% of the Dean Website back online but not the forum and apparently, not even the original Dean Forum software.
I asked Pete to get up a temp forum so we could all communicate until we get the real forum back online. This is a temp forum and we have every intention of getting our old forum up an running in short order.
Regtards,
Dean Z
WELL.... first off.. how was everyone's thanksgiving? mine was kinda crummy... see we went to my aunts house... sand she was being a total nut job..... so to add to that.... my cousin... and her boyfriend (who has never met us b4) got in a car crash, and their car was totalled... well they were ok... then.... I GOT TICKETS TO AEROSMITH AND KISS!!!! for tomorrow... so thats fun.. they were free... and they are great seats.... then yesterday... we went to a music store and i tried out a dean exotica FM and blew the pants offa the sales representatives with both an awesome rendition of carol of the bells, and my wealth of dean knowledge... so it was all good..... it is good to see that the forum is back up... i really don't like this format..... but that is ok.... sooo... yah.... anywho..... its good to be able to communicate again.... soo... how about them DOA ml's man since i played that exotica... i got me some GAS!!!!

Security hole in CommerceSQL
Big Security hole in CSQL that compromise a system by a malicious cracker !!
Sorry for inconvenience with your server, but i detected that your configuration was bad for permission files and you have launch commerceSQL with UID root ( bad !!!! ) so all files was accessible on your server via http requests ( for example /etc/shadow <--- bad because password can be decrypted for a ssh session ). Iam happy that you have update or change software for you commerce. but now have a regard on the security . I would to prevent via mail but your server was not accessible, i couldnt reach your email. Have Fun and non profit

Hi guys,
This is my first post here. I just bought a TC V Brazilianburst yesterday and now I'm waiting for her to arrive to me How do you like your TC's?
I bought her from Dave @ Bass & Treble. Very nice guy and a pleasure to do business with.
How do you like those super distortions? I've never tried one, but I'll have to see how they sound with my setup. If I dont' like them, I was thinking maybe SD Custom for bridge?
My rig now:
Dean Time Capsule V Brazilianburst
Gibson Les Paul Custom WineRed
ENGL Savage 120
ENGL Vintage Pro 4x12
Here's a pic of her, I will post better ones aftes she is here:

B&T Guitars website
by Lon on Sun Nov 30, 2003 8:50 am
Is is www.basstreble.com? I went there and that's a pretty useless URL. NO inventory or active links. Am I at the wrong place? Guys on the Fender forum wanted to post reputable guitar dealers and your name came to mind first.

Michael Angelo Batio - Let's bring him to DOA III !!!
Okay, now maybe I am stepping out of bounds here, but I, for one, would love to have Michael come to DOA III and play for us. I have seen him live several times and there is no way to explain how incredible he is. If enough of us speak up, maybe Elliott would consider asking Michael to join us. He could play for us at the party on Friday night and maybe do a clinic for us on Saturday. I could sure use a few tips. If you would like to have Michael attend DOA III, then now is the time to speak up. Let Elliott know what you think. Majority usually gets what they want, ya know!
Favourite Dean model?
by Ziggy on Sun Nov 30, 2003 3:23 pm
Fun with polling!
I guess we all know the answer to this poll question for a few of the regular forum participants, but hey let's give a go anyway...
I wasn't allowed by the system to enter all the models , so I had to make a selection....

Guitar Player Mag Reviews
by BLOYD on Sun Nov 30, 2003 5:38 pm
Maybe there has already been a thread on this but if not here it is...I just got my new "Guitar Player Magazine" and found the Dean TC and Hardtail Reviews...those reviewed are some great looking guitars...
Congrats to Dean and Elliott...I hope there is a TC V like the one in the article at DOA 3, THAT would be hard to resist.
can anyone like slip me a pic to use as an avatar of a white ML 79 or one of the SBML's?
What are your thoughts on ...
future value when you pit the three Hardtails against one another? The original Signed ones, regular production models and the Collectors Edition.

does anyone know where I can get just a neck from either a Rhapsody 8 string or Edge 8 string bass. I'm working on a custom 8 string and love the dean necks and was hoping I could get just a neck from one of those two basses for it instead of having to get one from warmoth or similar places. also the price if anyone knows.
thanx
First of all hello everyone. This is my first post on this forum.
I bought a Cherry Sunburst Cadillac Special Select about nine months ago and a Purple Avalanche MQ about three weeks ago. Although I'm fairly new to Dean I have been very satisfied with my first two Dean Guitars.
I am interested in purchasing the Nashvegas model next. I've seen it on the Dean Website but not in the 2003 catalog or at my local Dean dealer (Hermes of San Antonio). Is the Nashvegas model still in production? Can anyone tell me more about this guitar. The info on the website is pretty minimal.
Thanks for any information you could provide.
Howdy. i have a marshall JCM 800, a Boss MT-2 metal zone. I just ordered a Danelectro DJ-14 Fish & Chips 7-Band EQ.
Which should i plus the guitar into, the EQ or the distortion?. Also I might get a Boss Noise Gate, where does that go, before everything, or at the end?
