Electrics...
Hi Dean,
Ive contacted the Dean UK distributor, thanks again for your help - keep up
the awesome work, ive never played guitars as well built as Deans!
-Grant.
Hey Dean,
Just wanted to say That my New 79' ML kicksass, the best I have ever played pure Joy.
Holy crap!... i just got my new Dean today (first dean ever, i know its inexcusable). Its the Vendetta 4.0 w/ the barbed wire inlay. Lets just say that Dean is by far the best damn guitar in the world. That shouldn't even be considered an opinion, but sadly it is.
"R.I.P. Dime"
L8r,
Dustin Curry
I got the MSV
(Michael Schenker V) today and to say that I
was blown away would be an understatement.
This guitar is sweet. Killer look (the advertisement
doesn't do it justice), great tone, and outstanding
playibility. As I told you before I had never
played a Dean Guitar prior to making this
purchase (never even picked one up in a store),
however I may have to re-think this in the
future. I own 2 vintage Stratocasters,
a vintage Les Paul, a nice Hamer and a custom
Carvin. This guitar plays better
than them all. And to top it
all off it signed by the man himself! I need
to stop writing now and go play some more!
Thanks for the great service.

So
the picture you got here is from my
main axe "Dean Phantom V"
and I at one of the stages of W:O:A
2004!! Although it's "just"
a Korean made Dean, it beats up my other
guitars in playability. It has a greater
look anyway. :)
Just want to let you know that my Dean
Phantom V and I made it to the stage
of the largest Metal Festival in the
World...Wacken Open Air in Germany!!
We played there and it was amazing!

Hi
all at Dean,
Just thought I would drop you a line to let
you know how thrilled I am with my new EVO
XM. What a guitar, what a price. Now I know
this is not the American made Dean, but your
quality and control standards can be found
in this little gem. Great guitar for those
of us who will not be taking the stage anytime
soon, but still have a need to crank out the
tunes! The finish is great, the tuners hold
very well, easy to play, super light weight,
and it has got my name on it 4 times!!
Great work,
Dean B.
Just wanted to write and say how happy I am
with my new '79 series Z. I have never seen
this kind of value in a guitar before, and couldn't
be more pleased. Purchased it about 2 weeks
ago, give or take, and have barely put it down
since. I'm
fully amazed at the tones I'm able to achieve
with this guitar, especially at this price.
The finish is also high above average. Thanks
for making such a great product. I have recently
received my tax returns, and am presently longing
for a new Time Capsule( C-necks are nice, but
V-necks are even better). You've got a new customer
for life.....will never play anything except
Deans.
Thanks
again,
Scott S .

a thumpin low end, and the highs are SWEEEEET

I\'ve ever seen for under 5 bills; the top is

I
just want to let you know - I'm getting one
of your guitars! It's a Dean Baby Z. I've gone
back to the store to play it and look at it
almost all week. I'm going to be making my first
payment on sunday.. Unfortunately i don't have
enough cash to outright pay for it, so it will
take about 2 or 3 payments to get it. I've read
tons of good reviews on this guitar, and i thank
you for making it! This will be my second official
guitar. The last one i had about 4 years ago
got stolen, but luckily it wasnt a very good
guitar. Anyway, i'm going to cherish this thing
like its my kid! Thanks, Dean!

Dean
Guitars,
I started out by buying a New Dean Razor FS off
eBay and I was amazed at the quality and craftsmanship
for a guitar in that price range. After two weeks
I had another Dean. I bought a second hand Dean
Tonic D. Within another week I had a new EVO SS.
Now I have a Caddi Select and a Caddi X. I just
got a used Avalanche MQ. I sold a Fender or Epiphone
before each Dean I bought. I even sold a Martin
D 15 before I got the EVO SS. I have to keep the
wife happy you know.
You have me hooked. I think the Caddi Select and
EVO SS did it. I've been playing guitar since
1962. I've owned nothing but Fender Strats, Tele's,
Gibson Les Pauls and Epiphones all that time.
I will never go back now. I'm pinching pennies
and selling off more gear on eBay to try and get
a couple of higher end Deans.
Thanks for producing such quality guitars at REASONABLE
prices. Dean guitars are by far the best quality/sound
to price bargain I've ever seen. I have a friend
who is the guitar tech in our local music store
who is very interested in Deans. The store only
sells Fender, Takamini, PRS and Jay Turser (we
are a small town). I've taken each Dean I've bought
to show him, and everyone in the store wants to
play them. I'm spreading the Dean gospel. You
have a new true believer.
Best
Regards,
HARRY S
MR.DEAN,
I bought a brand new, sunburst Dean stylist (standard)
In Sept.of 02. and since then, I allow nobody
to play it, because, I get Jealous!!!!!! THANK
YOU ! THANK YOU ! I LOVE MY DEAN. It is a masterpiece...
And am proud to own one.
Hi
Folks,
I
upgraded today from an Avalanche Zone S to the
Avalanche One. I picked the Brazil Burst. I gotta
tell you it is one beautiful guitar! I almost
bought a standard Strat. I'm so glad I didn't.
Anyone who plays these two guitars and buys the
strat is just looking for the name. Thanks again
for making such great affordable instruments.

Dear
Mr. Dean Zelinsky,
WOW!,WOW!,
WOW!, I mean, I can´t belive it.
I´m
very pleased to have had a reply from the very
creator of the most beautiful and spectacular
guitar in the whole world, in my opinion; I never
thought you´d reply so soon. As I wrote in my
previous message, I´m interested in ordering an
ML standard american made model with the same
shape as the body of the original 1.981 edition
(this is my guitar). Regarding this I have a question:
I´ve
seen some pictures of recent ML american models
guitars in the deanguitars.com website and I´ve
notice a difference that you can see in the pictures
I´m enclosing in this message. My question is:
Can I trust you to build an exact copy of the
original ML standard 1981 body according to the
details I´m putting into circles in the pictures?
The
specififcations for my guitar would be as follows:
-Set
mahogany neck (joined at about the 19th fret)
-Neck
scale: 24 3/4 & 1 11/16 nut
-22
frets ( Dunlop 6100 fretwire )
-Rosewood
fingerboard with dot inlays (15" fingerboard
radius) -No binding on sides of neck (I´d like
the neck to keep the same width as if it had binding)
-Black headstock ( original Dean large "v
shape" headstock) -Mahogany body with natural
wood finish ( No binding on sides of body) Could
you also send me a catalog of ML´s via e-mail?
or maybe in some other way, please let me know.
Sincerely,
Chandler

Basses. Our main goal is to get signed. Check
out our web site and you can hear the Mp3s. Please
consider us and give me some news.

later.... love the guitars!! Keep up the good
work... Lived in Sterling, Illinois when you were
in Chicago..lol. Just had to say thanks though.

You Have One Very
Happy Customer!!!
Hi My name is Don
B. I live in Missouri. I've been playing guitar
for over 30 years and just recently purchased
a Chafin and I could not be more happy with the
incredible sound and range of the harmonics that
this displays... I know that there are a lot more
expensive models on the market that don't even
come close to the tremendous sound this instument
offers.. My compliments to your staff and look
forward to purchasing my next Dean guitar...if
you have any promotional items, I would love to
proudly display your products.
Thanks Again,
Don B.
Hi
Dean,
I hope the NAMM show went well for you all. Just
thought I'd drop a note to let you know that since
I bought the Korina Z several weeks ago I have
now just bought a ' 79 V and a ' 79 ML both in
the braziliaburst finish. I can't say enough
great things about your guitars! These other
manufacturers would do well to take a few lessons
from you. Keep up the great workmanship. My Les
Paul has been put into retirement. thanks for
great guitars. I found this quote and I am sure
you may have seen it also. The Guitar is Intensely
Personal in an Impersonal World. There is no obstacle
between the Instrument and the Heart only the
slight layer of skin on the fingertips. The guitar
is a small gentle voice in the midst of this world's
noise, that is why the world is listening to Andres
Segovia. The world is listening and you provide
fantastic guitars for those of us who choose to
express ourselves through our music in a way that
many wish they could.
My greatest thanks to you and your company.

Hi , I was just looking at scratch and dents on
musicians friend and came a cross a Dean ML-X
and bought it. I've always wanted an ML. It only
cost $179.00. so i didnt have high hopes. But
when it showed up and i pulled it out of the box
it looked mint and felt great. I had to do a few
minor adjustments before playing it. When i pluged
it in and started playing, it blew me away. It
played and sounded as good if not better than
guitars that cost 4X that. I'am hooked.I own 15
other guitars. Iam looking to try out a V and
Z from the 79 series, if they're anything like
the ML-X i picked up, I'll be one happy guy. The
ML-X will be going on tour with me this summer
thru the US and europe and if i could locate one
of the the 79 series it will also go.
Thanks for a great product.
Rick Drago from DEAD ON ARRIVAL
I bought a brand new Dean Tonic guitar from a
dealer on ebay a few months ago,and I really like
the guitar. It has a great neck and action.I choose
a guitar by picking it up and playing it,not paying
any attention what company made it.This Dean was
an instant hit with me(I have been playing, off
and on,for 35 years-mostly blues and rock).Just
wanted to say how pleased I am with this guitar. It
was a real bargain too.Recently I decided I might
like to get a classical guitar.When I spyed a
used Dean classical(the one with the cutaway body, and
built in pickup),I played it for a few minutes.Man,I
want one!!This Dean plays great too!So now,I'm
saving up for one of these.
Thanks, and keep up the great work-that is making
great playing guitars for us mere mortals,on a
mere mortals budget. Now if I could just find one
of your amps.....
