HardTail......

Hey, just picked up a used Dean Hardtail in mint cond. Was wondering if you had info on it if I gave you the serial #    Paper inside case said it was inspected by PB.  Serial # 03 0511. This is a fantastic guit. I own a vintage Les Paul,Tele,Strat, G&L,Gretsch and a few more. The craftsmanship on the Dean is second to none. Fell in love the first time I held it. Thanks for your help.

Peace

Hi Dean,

Thanks for the advice on the neck.  I decided to go with the C for my first Dean guitar, I received my USA Hardtail today and I am blown away!! I trusted all the great reviews I've read and am so gladI did. I just cant believe that there is a higher quality guitar made!! I thought my guild bluesbird was never going to be topped, but this guitar upstages the Bluesbird in every category!!  After I unpacked it I just stared at it for a while, made my wife look at it (She was very impressed and she doesn't really care this way or that about my guitars).... I thoroughly checked the setup (perfect), plugged it in an let it rip. It played so nice and sounded so good I started laughing out loud!!  Thank you again for the help. I'm now officially a Dean guitar guy!! By the way, the Soltero is sweet looking, I cant wait to see one in person!!

Dear Mr. Zelinsky,

I felt compelled to shoot this email off for a number of reasons. I just picked up one of your Exotic USA HardTails from Guitar Electronics in Phoenix AZ.  The S/N is 04 10869 and she has a beautiful quilted/flamed redwood top. I am blown away by the quality, tone, and feel of this instrument. The top of the line components you use and attention to detail surpasses everything everyone else is currently putting out there. I have never owned a Dean or considered one before. In fact, the only time I have had any exposure to Dean Guitars was a number of years ago when a buddy wanted me to play his Dean import because he loved it so much. He always pestered me to play it and being what I considered at the time a vintage/high end Fender and Gibson “purist” (read snob), I couldn’t play a guitar made overseas! I finally succumbed to his incessant request and it was exactly what I expected – JUNK! I bit my tongue and told my friend it was a nice guitar, as I did not want to break his heart by saying something so negative about his one true love (he was never really very good with the ladies).

So I walk into Guitar Electronics last Thursday (6/22/06) to see about having one of my vintage effects repaired. A musical associate referred me to them because I was looking for a good electronics tech. I didn’t know they sold guitars nor was I in the market for another guitar. When I saw the 2 HardTails they had in the shop, I had to ask what they where all about. Rob was the ultimate consultant. He took the time to explain about Dean USA, the measures they take to build a quality product, and the philosophies of the HardTail. It took over an hour to answer every question I had. He asked me if I would like to play one to check out the quality of the piece. The redwood top on what would become “my guitar” was so gorgeous I just had to oblige. Besides, I completely agreed with the philosophy that Strats and Les Paul’s where made in the 50’s and there was need for some evolution in the guitar gene pool! I played the guitar for about 25 minutes and have to say I was extremely impressed. Rob invited me to stay as long as I wanted and told me I could bring in my rig if I wanted to hear it through my gear. I wasn’t even in the market for a new guitar but I somehow showed up the next day with my Bogner Shiva in tow wanting to put the HardTail through its paces. Funny, but I obtained the same results! I was blown away by the guitar all over again. I stayed there for over 2 hours playing that redwood HardTail. The V shaped neck is the best I have ever felt. I have never checked out a guitar that long in my life. I just could not put it down. I was captivated! To top it off, the comfort level of the environment at Guitar Electronics and Rob’s ability to share his enthusiasm for what is undoubtedly a phenomenal product contributed largely in my decision to purchase your guitar. When I factored in the level of service I was provided by the crew at Guitar Electronics and the quality of the guitar you built, it was a no-brainer.

Rob informed me the guitar I purchased was one of six made. I am so impressed with this guitar that I would like to purchase another HardTail with one of the redwood tops that you handpicked. I would like to enlist your help in finding one of the other 5 redwood siblings of my guitar or one of the redwood Collectors Editions if available! I would also like to use Rob and his crew at Guitar Electronics to make that purchase.

In closing, I have to say Dean Guitars has scored HUGE on two major points. These points will continue to allow you to set your product apart from everyone else. First, in having a dealer that knows the value of consultative sales and taking the time to make a potential customer feel comfortable and properly educated. This exemplifies class. Without these measures, I would never have picked up your guitar (based on my previously stated first impression years ago) and discovered point two. Second, on having the foresight in creating a product that was long over due and following through with the attention to detail that creates a REAL VALUE. Kudos Dean, you have another loyal customer for what looks like a lifetime!

Best Regards,

Tracy M.

Dean,

I don't know if you really read these e-mails or not, but I thought I would drop a short message to thank you for my new guitar. I just bought a USA Dean Hardtail in Brazilliaburst and it is the most amazing guitar I have used yet. I own a few other guitars (USA Fender Strat Deluxe Plus, USA Gibson Les Paul Standard Plus, USA Gibson Chet Atkins Country Gentleman, and a Taylor 615 CE) but this is my first Dean.

I have been visiting the Dean web site for years and admiring the Hardtails since they came out. I live in Oklahoma and it was hard to find a Dean dealer to actually visit to see the Hardtails. I finally tried one out on the 23rd of April at the Dallas Guitar Show and really liked it. Though the guitar I tried was a USA Hardtail Professional which was a superb guitar but still I wanted the original version of the USA Hardtail. Then I did what most guitars tell other guitars not to do, I ordered one from the internet from Real Guitars in Florida. Two days later the guitar came in and I was completely floored. This guitar handled and sounded better then my Les Paul which I didn't think was possible. The quality of construction was unbelievable and I still haven't been able to put this guitar down (I know I am still in the honeymoon stage). All I can really say is that I was trying to decide between two guitar to buy, the Hardtail and a Hamer Artist and I am glad I bought the Dean. I will not say anything bad about the Hamer guitar, but the Dean gave me the overall tonal package that I was looking for and the utmost quality the I really haven't seen in many american made guitars recently.

Thanks again for such a great product.

Brett

I want to thank you again for a fantastic guitar.  The Dean NAMM 2005 Hardtail Classic I recently purchased, far exceeded my expectations.  The thing is a work of art.  I'm amazed at how thick the maple cap is.  And yet it's a comfortable weight.  Very well balanced.  The neck is amazing.  I thought I loved my Time Capsule ML... This neck is a little slimmer feeling and even easier to play than my ML.  (Hope my other guitars don't get jealous).

Pickups are fantastic.  The Michael Schenker signature pickups are big and beefy, but have good clarity.  Has HUGE chunk. The finish and grade of the flamed maple are amazing.

I'm ecstatic with my purchase and just wanted to pass along my reactions to the guitar.  I'm so glad to have purchased it.  I know it will bring me years of playing enjoyment.

DEAN RULES!

A. Rivera

Just wanted to say thanks again for the AWESOME Hardtail, it came in on Friday and I got to jam with her all weekend. It sounds amazing, and the top is the nicest thing I've ever seen. Thanks for the killer deal and the cool Dean gear, this is definitely one of the best purchases I've ever made!

Best,

Cengiz

Hello,

I'm writing this letter with the hopes that Dean might be able to read it. My name is Jonathan and I'm rhythym guitarist in the upcoming rock/metal band Lazy Eyed Psycho. Our first gig is this wednesday and it's going to be the Detroit Freedom Festival. We are going to be playing in front of a crowd of somewhere between 60,000 to 70,000 people and we are also going to be televised so our reach could theoretically extend as far as 1-2 million people. Also playing at this event is Eminem and other Detroit musicians. My reason for writing this letter is to let Dean know that up until now, I had been using a Jackson Dinky DKMGT for recording and what I thought would be also for live play. However, yesterday, I purchased a guitar that I was essentially drooling over for the past several weeks at my local guitar store, Oz Music in Ann Arbor (an official Dean Dealer). This guitar is none other than a Tigereye Hardtail. It has now replaced my Jackson as the guitar that I will be using as primary guitar for this show. The Jackson has now been demoted to "back-up" guitar. That is how much I love the sound and playibility of this guitar. I'm writing this to let you know that I have never been more pleased with a guitar. It will be played with rage, force, power, sweat, tears, blood and adrenaline. All that and with nothing less then a big f*cking smile plastered on my face from the fist note to the last. Dean, if you read this, my sincere thanks.

Dear Dean,

My name is Jared. I am 16 years old and have been playing guitar for two and a half years. My main guitar is my cadillac x, "which im sure you probably dont think is as nice as a usa caddy", and it  is the most amazing guitar ive ever played!! it is and will always be MY guitar. My main acoustic is an Exotica QSE SP TPR, it is the second greatest guitar ive ever played. I just bought a hardtail and it is also wonderful. I go into guitar shops constantly and just play guitars, rarely do i find a guitar that really impresses me because i have three Deans and what more could you want? I could not be happier with my new hardtail although ill never love it as much as i do my caddy x, it will definetly be with me for life. It is beacause of Dean guitars that i love the blues, without that caddy x i would have never understood how too feel what you play, because of that guitar, i learned how to put my feelings into my music.I know that you probably get letters like this all the time, and i know the last thing you need is some 16 year old kid annoying you, but i just wanted to let you know how much you have contributed to my becoming of a musician and how much you have for so many others. Thank you for making the greatest guitars ever. i hope to see more Dean guitars in the future and that you will be around for along time. oh and one more thing, the evos, and the vandettas, and the avalnches suck, and you know it, id hate too see you continue making that crap, do what you love and stick with the old ones, and if you can manage to make them all as kick ass as the hardtails i cant wait to see what Dean has in store for the future.

Sincerely,

Jared

This is my review of my recently purchased Hardtail Select. This guitar rates favorably with high end Les Paul and PRS guitars and probably surpasses. Extremely fast action makes guitar almost play itself-definitely increases fretwork speed. Rich warm tone with necessary  bite on the one humbucker.Beauty of the guitar makes it a museum peice such that you don't know whether to look at it or play it. As a bluesplayer with a 79Strat, I feel I am now fully equipped. Sounds great with my CryBaby and Peavey Bandit #1. I'll be ordering more Dean gear, incliuding a hat soon! Thanks again!

Robert T.

Elliott,

I wanted to let you know I picked up (purchased) a Hardtail this weekend - WOW! I spent the weekend putting it through it's paces and I can honestly say I have never played a guitar that felt so good, that was as sonically rounded, and blew me away like this one did. This isn't me blowing smoke either - it actually reinvigorated my enthusiasm for playing! I could go on and on, but I know the couple times we have talked in the past you had asked me about trying a Hardtail out, for one reason or another I hadn't. Best guitar I have ever played, period.

Sincerely,

Jason

Hi Dean:

Wanted to let you know I bought a Hardtail! And I'm in love. This is the finest guitar I've ever played/owned/seen. Jon and Tony helped me pick it out. It's a beauty!

Thanks!!

Hey Dean....

Steve from Fresno here. Well...it's been about 2 months since I got my Hardtail (# 22 of 100 ) signed by guess who.....and you know how there's usually a honeymoon period with new guitars....and then ....oh... well.....??....well the honeymoon goes on !! I like to play all my guitars as much as possible....but unfortunately I just can't quite get the sound and feel I need now out of any of the rest...so my Hardtail is really getting a workout.....constantly!

It always gets lots of "ooohs and aaahs" from players and non players alike. I have a Roland VGA-3 combo amp that I use for some gigs, and a THD Univalve half stack that I use for other gigs, and a Fender Blues Junior for the small gigs.....well....in the past I've had to select certain guitars for best results with these various amp set-ups......but my Hardtail just sounds great in all of them !! It's so focused and articulate whether on clean, crunch or high gain.

It's just hideous and wonderful !!!Hey...also I'm interested in one of the Zen acoustics....could you let me know how much those will cost?.....I'd like to reserve one !

Thanks again...

Steve K

My name is Steve K.....I'm an endorsing artist for Visualsound
Pedals and Reverend Guitars. I'm a guitar instructor, session player and
performing artist with a couple of very busy bands in central
California.......but I guess I finally got a clue.........cause I just
bought a new Hardtail !! I'm the proud new owner of an emerald green,
flame-top.....#22 of 100....signed by Dean Zelinsky....and I could'nt be
more proud !! I have lots of terrific guitars.....no really !....I mean
lots.........but to say this guitar is "incredible".....is way too
weak.....to say it's "unbelievable"......is ...well....unbelievable.......to
say it's way beyond anything I've ever had.....is the truth.........but to
say it's ..."mine"....is all I care about !!! Way to go Dean....!!!......I
just did my first gig with it this past Friday nite.....it was
glorious...afterward...... I could barely sleep.....I woke up this
morning....walked straight into my studio....and just looked at it...and
then just held it for a minute......did I say "mine" yet ?.......I love this
guitar !!!!!!!!.....your new fan in California.........Steve K

Dean:

I just purchased one of your hardtail guitars " # 55 of 100 cherry sunburst finish ". I have to say that I am totally blown away by this guitar! What a fine craftsman you are. Everything about this guitar is top notch, its sound, electronics, inlays, and drop dead gorgeous quilt finish. I have been playing guitar for about 25 years and this guitar is one of the best that I have ever played. Thanks for creating such a fine guitar!!!

Best Wishes,

Walt W .

I recently acquired Hardtail #94/100 from Wild West Guitars. What can I say that has not already been expressed with respect to your achievement? Superb craftsmanship? A uniquely appealing convergence of sonic sensation and aesthetic design? Extraordinary value? The best thing to happen in American
guitar-craft in decades? I generally seek to resist the temptation to engage in hyberbolic extravagance; but with the Hardtail, as they say, rersistance is useless.

My #94, in any event, is certainly one of the most "playable" guitars I have been privileged to play (and I've played more than my fair share of fine guitars). Oh, the fretwork on this ebony board—I tell you, Dean, I could never go back to rosewood. Perhaps my 13-year-old son has summed it up best. On the day I added the Hardtail to my collection, which consists of almost a dozen of some of the finest custom, hand-crafted solidbody electric guitars being built today in the U.S.A. (Brubaker, Baker, Bolin—to name a few),
Rawley, who is quite familiar with his father's collection, took one long look at your work, Dean, and unequivocally declared: "Dad, this is the most beautiful, awesome guitar I have ever seen."

WWG is a class act! I purchased an excellent Baker B1 from them prior to buying the Hardtail, and in both transactions I dealt with Bo Harrison, who went out of his way for the sake of my convenience and to insure my complete satisfaction. I would call Bo for my next guitar without any hesitation. Regrettably, however, WWG does not carry your EVO line of electric guitars, and I'm determined to obtain a Dean EVO Premium in Tiger Eye (with an ebony fretboard, of course) in time to present it to myself as a birthday present (on or before April 13th—I am not very fussy about dates, especially when it means getting a guitar sooner rather than later). Can you help me out here, perhaps by directing me to one of your authorized U.S. dealers who has this item currently in stock, or at least actually on order and due to arrive within, say, the next few weeks?

Thank you for your time and attention, and for the design and execution of my Hardtail #94!

Steven D.

Dean,

Got the Hardtail yesterday. Wow - I've been playing your guitars for decades now, and this one takes it to a whole new level. This is the nicest Dean ever, and is possibly the nicest GUITAR ever. I've already cut tracks with it.

Thanks again,

Kerry Livgren

Dear Dean Guitars:

Just a few minutes ago I registered my three Deans. Two EVO's I got last year, and a Hardtail I just got on Monday.

I bought my first Dean, the gold flake top with black neck and back EVO-60 last April. I wasn't planning to buy, I just picked it up off the rack to tune it and demo a song. I generally do not consider low cost imported instruments for purchase. This guitar simply grabbed me. It has great looks, excellent workmanship and sounds incredible. The access to the upper frets is superior to many other guitars.

I took this guitar home and played it through my various amps. Great harmonics! I then went to my youngest son's elementary school to practice "Hound Dog" with his class for an upcoming performance with them at their Spring Carnival. The kids, who had seen many of my guitars, loved the looks of this instrument and all asked if I would use this one when we played at the Carnival. The Carnival came. The kids sang their hearts out, and the Dean with the P-90's gave an excellent Scotty Moore cover. (It also blew out "Born to Be Wild.")

Well, just this fall I had to get a flame red EVO with the two humbuckers. This guitar just sounds great. Again the harmonics are all just right. Break into any classic song that one would associate with a humbucker Les Paul and this guitar sings.

So, on Monday 02-24-03, I bought the Hardtail. What can I say? I am a sucker for a beautiful flamed amber-burst finish. Of course, this instrument sounds great. The volume knob roll-off coil splitting is one very cool idea. It lets you get sound and volume combinations not possible on any other guitar. The ebony fingerboard has such a slick feeling. It does not hinder your vibrato like some fingerboards made from coarser grained woods.

Oh yeah, just so you know… I can have any guitar I want. I own over thirty, including some very collectable Gibsons, Fenders, Martins, etc… I have five high-end PRS guitars. I have been playing for well over 30 years. So, my judgment of your instruments is well qualified. Also, I am a share holder of Eastside Guitars & Drums in Greenville, SC. I can pick and purchase what I want!!!

Your instruments provide a great value for the money. Keep it going.

Well I got another spring Carnival to get ready for.

Best Regards,

John R .

Dean,

I just purchased a brand new Hardtail from Music Gallery in Highland Park IL. They had three in stock (2 of which were handsigned). All three were stunning guitars, but I ended up buying 71/100 finished in Flamed
Braziliaburst. I must give you the highest praise on this beautiful piece of art. The flamed
maple top is the most amazing flame top I have ever seen, and the inlays are beautiful as well. However, a guitar is not just a piece of art meant to be looked it, it is meant to be played. I must admit that I was so caught up in the guitars visual appeal that I problably would have bought it even if it were less than a great playing guitar. However, it plays even better than it looks. Words can't describe how much I love this guitar! It is my first Dean, and you have made a believer out of me. I doubt I'll be playing my Gibson Les Paul for a long while. Thank you for making such an amazing guitar!!!

David H.

Is the Hardtail only going to be made for one year and really only 100 of them? I have money that I will get when I turn 18 (i'm 15 now) that I would use to purchase this sweet guitar.

So please keep producing it. PLEASE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Chris H .

Hi Dean,

After being a die-hard G&L player for 20 years, I have discovered another wonderful American made guitar. The Hardtail is great, I have #26 green with a flame top. I had been looking for a high quality set neck humbucker guitar.  The Hardtail has better quality than PRS or Gibson and plays and sounds better. I can't put the Hardtail down. I have a small collection of guitars, (mostly G&L's) and I now have a Hardtail hand signed by you and a G&L Broadcaster signed by Leo Fender. I consider Leo Fender and Ted McCarty the inventors and you the innovator of the electric guitar. Keep up the good work.

Steve G

Hi Dean,

I bought the #66 Hardtail and it arrived this week. I was floored when I opened the case this guitar is beautiful. I was even more impressed when I plugged in and tuned up - it plays effortlessly and has the best action and tone of any guitar I own.

Thanks for starting one of the best guitar companies ever.

I own 10 Dean guitars, but this one is special.

I'm going to try to make it to DOA II and hope to meet you there.

Sincerely,

Mike S.

Dean:

I'm hooked on Hardtails!! There was a brand new, gorgeous red quilted top
Hardtail that apparently was a special order but buyer cancelled it so I
bought it. Could not pass it up at that price!!!
What am I doing with 3 Hardtails when I can only play one at a time?

Michael

My fifth Dean Guitar arrived yesterday.... A Hardtail (#10274) in Beautiful Quilt Amberburst!

I have one word to describe it.... SULTRY !

You have definitely outdone yourself with this guitar. A true masterpiece! Not only is it stunning to look at but it plays phenomenally. The finish is exquisite and the inlays on neck are beyond perfection.

Once again I'd like to express my thanks for a truly magnificent work of art.

Keep up the great work!

Regards,

Chuck

Wow...although I had seen the ad for the Hardtail somewhere and knew Dean was making a supposedly special model I had no idea it was like this. I've been playing it steadily since I picked it up and now realize my instinct that there was something special about this model was right on...it had that delicate, sculpted--almost feminine feel when I first touched it...not clunky at all like the Washburne I played there, and while I wouldn't accuse a Les Paul of being clunky-feeling, it's definately more of a battleship feeling whereas this Dean is more of a stradivarius feeling. I'm glad I ran into you, I almost didn't go to Nate's little promo....this machine is beautiful and amazing. The next time I'm ready for a new guitar, I'll definitely check in with you.

Thanks!

Dave

Hi Shane,

I received the Dean Hardtail Certificate yesterday (#33), and it looks great. Thanks for your help. The guitar is fantastic! I don't know why there are so many out there still not sold, and why I even see some on ebay. I think people don't realize how good they really are. I still say it's better than PRS.

Anyway, thanks again, we'll try to get up there and visit you all again sometime soon.

Best Regards,
Bill Hudson

Dean:

Wow, thanks for your quick response!

Actually, I was curious as to what your #1 Hardtail (from your "private stash") would be going for. I have no intention of parting with my Hardtail. It is absolutely the most amazing guitar I have ever seen or played, regardless of price. Actually, I haven't seen another Hardtail that I think looks as good as mine!

However, my Hardtail has not been out of its case since I received my 25th Anniversary Caddy #16. If it was at all possible, the Caddy amazed me even more than the Hardtail did! As I said in a recent post on the website, more than once I have found myself looking at the guitar in its stand and thinking "Wow, what a great looking guitar!" It sounds and plays even better.

Keep up the good work!

Scott

Dean,

I got Hardtail #3 today. It is unbelievable. Fabulous!!! I am trying to write the online ad for it right now and I am having trouble finding the words to accurately describe it. The usa V's and ML's have been super guitars but you have outdone yourself this time. I've got Les Pauls, PRS, and just about everything else that has ever taken a pick but none stand up to this baby. Thanks so much for letting me have this early one. Am I correct, that this one is the first production model to be offered for retail? I see on the site that the first two went to Chris Henderson of Three Doors Down.

Anyway, it is awesome. It plays like butter and sounds like heaven, and looks like,.... well that's where I don't have the words to go.

Keep up the good work!

Thanks again,

"From the Dean Forum (Hardtail)"

Just thought I'd take a break from this insane jam session and try to describe the appearance of this guitar to you.

The first thing you notice when you open the case is the beautiful flame maple amber top. I call it the "buttered pancakes and syrup" finish because it looks like you're looking on sideways at a stack of about 50 panacakes just oozing with Grade AAA maple syrup and melted butter.....MMMMMMMMMM! The mahagony body is the most gorgeous malted milkshake color and the grain actually changes as the light hits it from different angles (sort of like those silly gizmoes in Cracker Jack box that give you a moving picture as you move it back and forth). The only indication that there is a neck join is that the body binding stops just short of the heel. And as far as the heel goes, those of you who've played EVO's will be familiar with the design, only it's even more blended into the body. Nice job on that Dean Z!!!!!!

The special fretboard inlays are nothing short of dead on gorgeous. I used to think that block inlays were the bomb, but these little dandys are really spectacular. They give you the sense that the fretboard is in perpetual motion. And the grain of the ebony is so tight if I didn't know better I'd say that Dean Z used a sheet of slate for it.

The headstock is really one of the coolest shapes I've ever seen. Dean Z designed it so that there is a slight overextension of the underside of the neck before it blends into the headstock, I'm sure to increase both strength and sustain. The headstock itself is angled pretty steep, allowing for better string pull and thus better tuning stability.

The final thing is what tells me that this guitar was built with tender loving care. And that is the way that the strings are wound on the tuning pegs. Each of the unwound strings is wrapped about 5-6 times and the wound strings are wrapped 3 times. I know that might not seem like a big deal, but believe me...it is! This is the ideal ratio for string winding that provides the best in tuning stability. It also again demonstrates to me the attention to detail that went into the building of this guitar.

Well, enough typing! I need to play!

Your pal,

Doc

Thank you for the phone call yesterday, it was very appreciated and unexpected. It's nice to see the interest that you are taking with your customers. Mike McAfee from Willis Music at Oxmoor called me today and is ordering me the Hardtail with the quilt top Braziliaburst finish; he is always so helpful and accomodating when I deal with him. I'm going to be trading my Gibson Les Paul Classic, and of course some cash for it, so I'm very excited about seeing and playing this remarkable guitar. I've only been playing since '94, and I have been a die hard Gibson fan, but these new Dean's seem to be far more superior to any Gibson that I have seen or played lately. So, keep up the great work, because you've just earned a Dean customer for life. Thanks again.

Dean,

The Hardtail came in last Friday, and all I can say is, WOW!!! It is more beautiful than I could have possibly envisoned. The quilt top is gorgeous and the inlays on the neck are very beautiful and unique. And it plays and sounds unbelievable. The neck is so easy to play; it practically plays itself, and the ebony fingerboard is a definate plus. After, I held it and played it, I had to play my Les Paul Classic one more time, and there was no comparison. The Hardtail is far more superior!!! So, thanks for creating such a great guitar, and I hope you plan on making plenty more, because I know that I will be adding a few more to my collection. :)

P.S. What are the chances of my Hardtail showing up online? And do you have any plans of posting the people who have purchased one of these first 100?

Subject: Re: Hardtail Prototype question.

Dean,

Thanks for the information and for the very quick reply. It is extremely impressive to have access to and get information from the founder of a guitar company, easier than it is to reach an employee at most companies. Not only excelllent guitars but excellent service. The Hardtail is the best guitar made.

Thank you again,
Tim W.

OH MY LORD!!! This Hardtail has to be the most beautiful guitar that I have seen, and it plays and sounds unbelievable. Thanks for picking out a beauty. Then plays so easily, it practically plays itself. I would say I'm more than satisfied with this baby.

Thanks again. :)

fretboard, of course) in time to present it to myself as a birthday present
(on or before April 13th—I am not very fussy about dates, especially when it
means getting a guitar sooner rather than later). Can you help me out here,
perhaps by directing me to one of your authorized U.S. dealers who has this
item currently in stock, or at least actually on order and due to arrive
within, say, the next few weeks?

Thank you for your time and attention, and for the design and execution of
my Hardtail #94!
