Dean Guitars and Uli Jon Roth's Sky Academy Present a Sky Academy Scholarship
To apply for the Sky Academy Scholarship, applicants should select their best audio or video track of themselves playing - anything at all, as long as it is a good representation of your playing. It can be a cover song, an original, a backing track, with a band, a video - just about anything.
Once you have selected your track, email it to Jeff Agins at jagins1@cox.net
Also list your name, address, and phone number in the email. Winner will be selected by skill-level.
Application Deadline is Monday, June 8th
Scholarship to include admission to Sky Academy and concert in Santa Ana, CA - travel and hotel not included - Two winners will be selected. Applicants will be notified by phone.
General information on Sky Academy Seminars:
Legendary Guitarist Uli Jon Roth's Sky Academy was conceived by Uli to provide knowledge and inspiration to those who take guitar playing seriously and to help them reach a new plateau.
The seminars are designed to open musicians' eyes to new possibilities and to trigger an awakening of the student's full potential and talent.
Uli's teaching aims to help unlock the full talent and potential of each player by drawing on his unique insights into the deeper mysteries of the craft. Uli Jon Roth: "it has always been one of my talents to spot the talent of others and to help make it grow by pointing out certain things which are apparent to me, but not necessarily to the eyes and ears of the student. "
"My own journey through music and life has revealed to me a way of approaching the instrument and music in such a fashion that maximum progress can be achieved in the shortest amount of time. I don't know whether I have stumbled upon a secret here, or rather just a series of interactive laws, but whatever it is - it sure works, and it's about time that I share some of that knowledge with the younger generations."

- 3 Days of Seminars led by ULI JON ROTH
- Special kick off introduction held on afternoon/evening of June 17 with Uli Jon Roth!
- Sky Academy Concert: Uli Jon Roth and Friends June 18th!
- Special VIP access passes to concert and rehearsal (if needed)!
- As a registered student of Sky Academy you are entitled to bring a guest/spouse to attend as a spectator at a reduced fee
Uli takes the stage and jams originals and covers with guests. Songs from Uli's days with The Scorpions, his Electric Sun material, Cream, Deep Purple, Jimi Hendrix and more!
