Dean Guitars & ddrum Present the 2010 NAMM Jam!

Dean Guitars, and its sister drum company, Ddrum, are celebrating Dean's "33 years of excellence, innovation and rock & roll excess" with the DEAN GUITARS 2010 NAMM JAM. Taking place Fri. Jan 15th, 2010 at the Grove of Anaheim and featuring a top-shelf lineup of multi-platinum artists, drum and guitar legends, and some of the biggest names in hard rock and metal, this is sure to be THE party of NAMM 2010.
The night will feature two headlining performances. First, COLLECTIVE SOUL, the Georgia based, multi-platinum band with a catalog of #1 hit singles will rock a full-set of their alt. rock classics. A MIDNIGHT ALL-STAR JAM will immediately follow Collective Soul. The all-star jam will feature present and future legends such as Mike Amott (Arch Enemy/Carcass), Eric Peterson of Testament, Dave Lombardo of Slayer, Corey Taylor (Slipknot, Stone Sour),Don Dokken, Warren DiMartini (Ratt), Uli Jon Roth, James Kottak (Scorpions), Phil Demmel (MachineHead), Tim "Ripper" Owens and many more. Some last minute surprise musicians are expected to be taking the stage as part of this superstar ensemble.
The party will kick off of at 645pm with CARMINE APPICE'S SLAMM, a lively multi-drum ensemble sure to ignite the energy of the night, followed by A DOUBLE-GUITAR SHRED PERFORMANCE BY MICHAEL ANGELO BATIO. Batio won the 15th annual Guitar World Magazine readers choice award in the Best Shredder category and was voted the "no. 1 Shredder of ALL TIME" in Guitar One Magazine.
As a special bonus, drum hero VINNIE PAUL (Pantera, Damageplan, Hellyeah) will act as SPECIAL GUEST MC for the evening.
ULI JON ROTH + Friends will perform following a special unveiling of Roth's new Dean signature SKY GUITAR. Roth, an acclaimed "neo-classical" guitarist, formerly of Scorpions, is considered a guitar god to the current guitar gods such as Kerry King, Mike Amott and Slash. Elliott Rubinson, Dean Guitars CEO will perform on bass with Uli.
Performances by both LA GUNS and TEXAS HIPPIE COALITION will round out the night with their heavy-duty, down and dirty rock &roll flavor, perfect for the biggest NAMM party lineup to date.
