Dean Guitars Rocks Nashville Nascar Weekend with Bret Michaels
posted on 2010-04-07
The Dean TV crew just returned from an amazing weekend of rock n' roll and race car action in Nashville. Dean Guitars recently inked a deal with Bret Michaels and we are a sponsor of his "Roses and Thorns" tour currently making it's way across the U.S.
Bret put on a highly energetic show at the fabulous Wildhorse Saloon in downtown Nashville. Bret and the boys rocked the capacity crowd with the Poison classics "Talk Dirty to Me" and "Every Rose has it's Thorn" as well as his new single "Nothing to Lose". Bret Michaels and his guitarist Pete Evick are using Dean Guitars exclusively on stage now and drummer Lucky Chucky is endorsed by our drum company Ddrum. We definitely recommend the Bret Michaels Band as a great night of entertainment!
In addition, to the Bret Michaels show we spent two days at Nashville Superspeedway. Dean Guitars is a proud sponsor of NASCAR Nationwide Series Stratus Racing Group Car #73 with former Daytona 500 champ Derrike Cope at the wheel. It was quite a rush seeing the Dean Wings flying on the side of the car during the race! We had a great time sitting in the pit tower, talking to the crew in the garage and having some tasty BBQ in the Team Owners lot. What a phenomenal experience. Congrats to Derrike Cope and his partner Dale Clemons on running a competitive race.
Dean TV will be in Dallas for the race on April 17th. Dean Guitars just purchased the hood of the #73 Car in support of Ride for Dime. More info to come soon but there will be a raffle of the Ride for Dime NASCAR hood at this years Ride For Dime in August.
We'll have video highlights coming soon. In the meantime enjoy the pics and definitely look for the Dean Guitars logo on the Bret Michaels bus rolling through your town soon.
