Bambi Lynn started out as a classical musician, playing viola at an early age.  By high school, she had moved to keyboards and shortly after graduating, she began singing.  Although it was as a singer that her musical carrier really began to take flight, she continued to pick up new instruments by adding bass and guitar to her credits.  As time moved on, guitar became more and more of a priority.  These days, Bambi (along with her Michael Schenker Flying V) spends most of her time on the road singing, playing guitar and keyboards with the band Radio Cult - who released Mix Tape, their debut CD, in 2006.

“When we recorded our CD Mix Tape we had close to 100 vintage guitars to choose from right there in the room with us.  After playing guitar after guitar looking for the perfect sound, we realized that no matter how old and expensive these guitars were, we got the best sound for almost every guitar track from my Michael Schenker V.  We ended up using that guitar on 90% of the CD.”

Bambi is currently in the studio working on Radio Cult’s follow-up CD which is due out later this year, but that doesn’t keep her off the road.  With an average of 150 shows each year throughout the United Stated, Bambi stays busy and her Dean guitar stays well used.

“What first attracted me to the Michael Schenker V was the look, but what keeps it onstage with me every night is the feel and the sound.  Another great feature of this guitar is that it stays in tune.  While temperature and weather changes affect the other instruments onstage, my Dean takes a beating and stays in tune night after night.  It doesn’t matter how high I jump, or how hard I land, it just won’t go out of tune!  It’s fantastic!”

With the number of shows Radio Cult has performed, that statement has been put to the test time and time again.  Check out Bambi and her band on their website at or their MySpace pages at and!
